This, I think, would be a really simple add.  There needs a to be a way to quickly glance at an order (without selecting it) to see if there is stock available for the order or not.     Right now, I have to go through each order, one by one, to see if there is any stock available and sort the orders accordingly. It would be so much faster if I could just create a tag that applies to every order to check the inventory levels. Currently live rates only shows the cheapest shipping method rate if delivery time is identical with another shipping method's rate. Sometimes a customer would like one carrier over another (eg UPS vs USPS) so my request is for a feature to flag a shipping method to "always show" even if it is not the cheapest.   I think the feature of only showing the cheapest is a good idea. However, having the option to turn it off is important as some companies may have business practices that prefer to show the customer more options for shipping (like us!). ... View more

If we have an issue with someone receiving the wrong item in their order, I look back to see if it was Scan to Verify before shipping. It would be beneficial for it to say whether each item was actually scanned or if it was clicked as verified so we can see if was our mistake or an issue with the barcodes. !! ... View more

Hi,   We have four ship from locations with different zip codes that have more or less the same SKUs in each warehouse. This is so that we can provide fast shipping speed in most regions. We currently have orders automated to select the ship from warehouse via customer's state (ex. CA, ID, GA...) but sometimes we find that we can be a bit off.    We wanted to know if there is a way to find the cheapest shipping option based on available ship from locations as well as available shipping service, on a bigger scale. If it can be automated to just choose the ship from location based on proximity, that works too.    Any ideas would help. Thanks! ... View more

There are a few features I use all the time and most of the items on this top bar I never use. I NEVER use: Get Rate, Assign To, Bulk Update or Allocate.    However, I am always using Mark As Shipped and Export Orders Also due to a problem with my particular shopping cart software, I need to navigate to Settings, Automation, Automation rules... scroll WAY down to the bottom (I have a lot of rules!), Re-process Automation, then CONFIRM. Hello, it appears that order automation is currently only configured for order-specific details with limited Product-related criteria. It would be extremely beneficial if criteria could be added for Product-specific information like Product Created date. This would allow users to automate processes to identify orders for products that may be new/old.   One important application of this idea is to create an automation criteria for orders with Products that have a Creation Date of Today, with an action of tagging the item with a "Quality Control Needed" tag so that the team sees that today is the first instance of sales of that item and therefore need to check to make sure all the details are correct.   Since other product specific details like Warehouse are already in the criteria, this should be a pretty straightforward implementation ... We use many platforms for selling and need to allow customers to obtain return labels themselves.  Right now, if the order has been split, they cannot do so.  If we create a return manually we can choose which product (even on split orders) is being returned and get a return label for it.  Why can't the customer have the same option? ... In Stamps.com my presets had a " Message field". There I could write * (item quantity) Thank you* it would print out ON the label for that preset so packaging would be much easier. Without that packaging has to determine quantity to package according to weight.  ALSO in the Stamps.com presets I could customize an international quantity preset to have the correct  customs form filled out for quantity ordered. In ShipStation I filled out my preset customs form for 1 unit ordered and when I printed an order for 2 units ordered, I see the automated customs only said pkg had 1 unit in there. Our warehouse is based in Montreal Canada and use Canada Post or UPS for our shipments. We currently have the option to create a return through ShipStation for Canada Post only.    1. We would love to see UPS returns available as well (canada to canada)    2. We would love to have the option to send return labels to customers including a QR code so the customer can bring the package directly to a service point and have the label printed for them. As a company that works with many Shipstation clients we are constantly on the computer entering in the Warehouse location that also matches up with the Inventory Warehouse Location when you are doing the Product Details. Is they a way that you could create a map so that when I enter in product and location in the Inventory Warehouse Location it can automatically be entered into the Warehouse Location as and always have the oldest created location be the one that is the first one to show up on the Picking Slip for those of use that follow FIFO/FEFO. ... With the new Split Ship features rolling out, sending out orders with multiple shipments is getting easier and easier.   However, the one thing that is still holding these new features back is the inability to create and print all the labels at once in the Order Details window.   You have a multiple shipment order, you split everything up into their respective shipments and apply a profile to each of them. It would make sense to be able to press a button to create and print each of these labels at once, right?   Instead we either have to create and print each label one by one, or we have to close the window and select each shipment individually before creating labels. In some cases, creating the new shipments will place them at the bottom of your queue separate from the rest of the shipments contained in your order.   The implementation of this feature will not only save significant time for shippers who process large, multi-shipment orders, but will also keep the shipments better organized as everything you are currently processing stays tied neatly together in the same window. ... We ship all heavy products and being able to create multiple packages from an automation would be great - FEDEX don’t appreciate 50kg parcels apparently! We currently have to manually adjust these  for individual items which wastes a lot of time.  ... View more

It would be really helpful to have the Rate Browser button available in the Scan to Verify screen. Our warehouse staff use the scan to verify process, but then they jump between browser tabs so they can also access the rate browser. Seems like low-hanging fruit to add this same button/functionality to the scan screen. Would be awesome if ShipStation could add this in. Thanks! ... View more

why? Because if something is amiss, my staff need to go into the warehouse with the packcing slip and check the discrepency. Also, , our pull and ship process is two part. My pulling staff need to be able to take the packing slip into the warehouse, and scan it, to make sure they ar epulling the right item. The shipping staff would then do the verification process when packing. The data is there, we need to be able to define how we use it.   Also, using the SKU as the barcode is not reality. SKU and UPC are COMPETELY different things in the real retail world. This needs to get fixed, and you need to imporet UPC data from shopify separately - that is WHY they have different fields.    Judy ... View more

I understand that ShipStation sets a 35 character limit on street lines which makes sense as I believe US addresses are 34 characters or less. However this isn't also true of the UK where some examples of genuine verified street lines might be: The Lodge Education and Training Centre (39 characters) 100 Blairmuckhole And Forrestdyke Road (38 characters) Royal Mail's own click and drop system has a maximum 99 character limit for the street lines.
