We have a warehouse in USA and UK, we want to use one log in to manage both sites but when it comes to add new couriers like Royal Mail they are not available in the list. How do we work this one through ?
Currently, a ShipStation account can only be based out of a single country. You can have several ship from locations within that country, but they would all have to be either USA based collectively or all UK based.
I do see why this would be desired though! I'll move this over to our Ideas section so that other community members can vote for potential implementation!
Indeed. I understand that from the Shipstation perspective, it's a win as they just get a completely new subscription (cash) for every country we ship from. They don't have a lot of incentive to change this feature, regardless of the hassle it is for us.
So far, we've created a new, separate Shipstation instance with a different login for our new Australian market. We have a single Shopify store that adjusts based on geolocation. A major problem occurred when we tried to connect our Australian instance. It wiped out the US Shipstation real-time rates. I had to remove both connections and use the Australian one separately -- and for the US, we're using a different app.
Because this is so much hassle, we're considering alternatives to Shipstation. Easyship looks promising.
I would like to follow up on this. I will be cancelling my Shipstation account if this does not get implemented. We use Shipstation to have everything centralized - and right now having multiple Shipstation accounts is causing too many issues. All your competitors already have this - not sure why you're forcing users to create multiple accounts which create unnecessary added costs.
@Waisewhat competitor did you go with? We just ran into this too (we have a US and Canada warehouse). It's actually insane they don't have this capability especially as people have been asking for it for 10 years now.
