We have a number of items in our online store that are collection only or local delivery, and at present there is no option to set 'Collection' or 'Local Delivery' for the service provider which would be very very helpful for staff fulfilling orders to immediately see on the list of orders awaiting shipment which orders are for collection or fulfilment by our company directly and which are not.
I assume the easiest way to approach this would be to have an option to create your own 'custom carrier' where the list of usual carriers to select from is

It would be a really valuable addition to a good system. As we use product tags for automation, this would work well in tandem.
Also a link to a screenshot below where I think the 'custom carrier' or 'own company carrier' for example could go/ be found.
Hope this gets looked at. Have spoken to support already and it is a feature that doesn't exist currently.

You can contact support and ask to have custom label enabled on your account.

It will then create a shipping provider called Custom Labels.
We then do a service mapping from shopify for our pickup service and map it to Custom Labels. When the packing slip is scanned and everything verified, it prints the label.
