I contacted your API team for this and they encouraged me to ask for this here. According to this (https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026157731-Track-Shipments?queryID=bc4f48b2fd03a794...) the status of a shipment is available so that we can see if a shipment is in transit or delivered to the customer. Unfortunately, though, this is not available when getting the shipment information from ShipStation's API (example here: https://www.shipstation.com/docs/api/shipments/list/).
Additionally, this could be part of a webhook notification - once the status of a shipment is updated it notifies an endpoint on the customer's API for this update.
