A lot number is an identification number assigned to a particular quantity or lot of material from a single manufacturer. The lot number enables tracing of the constituent parts or ingredients involved in the manufacturing of a product. It also gives consumers an identifier that they can use in contacting the manufacturer and researching the production of goods received. its help to trace the product back to origin. 1. when receiving qty item to stock need to add the following fields per lot. Made date Exp date Exp Alert date (the system will add it to admin notifications) generate auto lot or enter lot number and qty for this lot Lot# description qty recived for this lot.

This is critical. We need lot numbers on our pick lists and ideally on the invoice/packing slip. Currently we have a separate operation to print the pick list from Dear. It would be ideal if the lot/batch number would come from Dear to Shipstation. This is legal requirement to comply with the recall requirements of current food safety law - and it's just good practice.

Lot tracing is mandatory for our business as well. We expect ShipStation to add this functionality to its existing inventory management system. Thank you.

TradeGecko / QuickBooks Commerce allows for batch number / lot number tracking for food manufacturers. ShipStation should understand this is required under Food Safety Modernization Act.

we are already using Zoho and it's great!!!!. TradeGecko has a massive lack of important inventory features for us.

It would be nice to have the option to scan in/assign a lot number with scan to verify.
