Bundles on Packing Slips and Pick Lists

The bundle feature is great. It shows on our Pick List as expected, by listing its child items only. However, it doesn't show on the Packing Slip well. When I uncheck "show bundle on packing slip" it shows each child item on the packing slip, similar to the Pick List. This is confusing for the customer since they're expecting to see the bundle title on their order summary, not individual items that they are likely not aware make up the bundle.

So I check "show bundle on packing slip", and then it shows the bundle title for every child product. In other words, if there's 5 child products in a bundle, it just says the bundle title 5 times. That's even more confusing.

When you check "show bundle on packing slip", it should only show the bundle title once, and it still associate the parent/bundle product description to it, so that when you utilize the [Product Description] merge tag in the Packing Slip it displays the bundle's description, which we could set to describe all the child items in the bundle so that customers can see the bundle AND what's in it.

Depending on the bundle app you use in shopify, you can have bundles broken down into components and the original bundle items. I believe simple bundles and kits will do this.

Personally we don't do this as it makes it harder on our picking team to find the individual componets and then they get confused with a bundle and don't know if they have to pick that as well.

With simple bundles and kits, it breaks down the order in shopify so at checkout, it shows all the individual components at checkout and on their confirmation email so its not really a surprise of all the pieces on the packing slips.
