Needs Assistance: Any Advice to Ship Frozen Meat?

Due to the perishable nature of the products, I have to pack them with Dry Ice, also need a faster shipment, but Carriers are not allowing pack dry ice to exceed 5.5 lbs. Ground shipping takes too long, 20 lb dry ice will turn to gas in 4 days maximum.

So the option ends up only one, the Overnight shipping. Super costly.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Maybe you can try a 2 or 3 day shipping with your carrier. Even though it will be more than ground - it will be less than overnight. Also you can try reaching out to your carrier and negotiating better rates based on sending all your products 2-3 day air or overnight etc

You should also watch the zones that you are shipping and see if you can send a slower way based upon your location. When you create your label in Shipstation - check the estimated delivery dates for Ground first and then adjust from their based on your customers location. Every dollar counts. Good luck!
