WHY DO I HAVE TO REFRESH THE SHIPPING METHOD FOR A STAND ALONE PRODUCT THAT I HAVE ALREADY ADDED PRE

Even though I have put the values in for a stand alone product I still have to refresh the shipping method on the order screen. It used to be automatic and I could just print the label and not have to refresh the shipping method.
