-I split the order into two items -open order details -selected to
"configure shipment 1 of 2" -entered info for shipping just for that
item -click Add to Batch in Order Details -Both items appeared in the
batch and when I processed it they both came...

Agreed. Even if I have split and shipped part of the shipment, when I go
in to ship the other items it adds everything to the batch and I have to
go in and remove what's already been shipped. The older version was so
I just posted the same thing. I feel like they are giving arbitrary
"solutions" but don't actually help figure this out because "clearing
the cache" which they keep telling me to do isn't doing anything. I
never cleared my cache with the old version ...
