Alerts for shipment delivery exceptions

Recently we had a package that was returned to sender. The tracking information shows that we received the package, but we believe the package to be lost. Our team had not been regularly checking the delivery exceptions tab of the shipments page, so this order went into the error state without us knowing about it. If we could choose to turn on alerts when orders go into the delivery exception state, our team could have investigated and addressed the issue much sooner.

PLEASE! I would love to have automatic alerts for shipment issues. It would be great to automatically know what's happening and be able to resolve the issues for my customers more quickly!

PLEASE ADD THIS. I have customers doing chargebacks because USPS/UPS lost the packages (they haven't updated tracking in weeks, or it got returned to sender and we haven't received it) and it would REALLY help to have this feature to at least see when it's being returned to sender, so I can report the package as lost and help the customer ASAP as soon as I'm aware. Can't believe this has been asked for since 2018 and nothing has been added and it's 2024....
