HAHA so they have done a 'cosmetic design' update to the way EORI numbers are added to orders BUT not actually thought to spend some time on functionality that we all need!

It looks like this has been been implemented this morning. You can find the automation in Settings > Automation Rules > Create Rule > Set Tax Indentifiers :)

Too little too late for us. We've already moved to another platform. This was embarrassingly slow.

I expect this may get removed...we moved to Linnworks as they had a huge range of shipping integrations. are more UK focused and are a better central processing hub for inventory and warehousing. It's not prefect but we're shipping a lot quicker and more accurately than SS. No more missed customs details and duplicating of inventory data across systems. Much more expensive but saves us a person in admin I reckon.

ShipStation recently added the ability to add your Tax ID numbers to your shipment customs declarations via Automation Rule. When creating your automation rule, choose the "Set Tax Identifiers" option, then select which Tax ID numbers you wish to add to the orders that meet your rule criteria. This is a multi-select option, so you can add as many Tax IDs as you need to the shipment customs declarations.

Has there been any progress on this?  We are desperate to be able to map the recipient tax identifier so we are not having to type it into every shipment?

 

We have done the automation rule to put our details on but it is taking a lot of extra time to manually add to the recipient and it is occasionally being missed leading to parcels being returned from customs

Has there been any development to enable us to map the customer tax identifier (EORI) from our system (Netsuite) to Shipstation?  Currently we are having to add it manually to every non UK shipment which is a big hindrance to the business and also leaves room for it being missed and therefore not going through customs.
