Yes, lets get on this feature. Be nice to generate a LIST with all the sales numbers in each state.
BE A BIG HELP! Rather not have to hover over each individual state on a heat map.
I definitely think this is a good idea....we run reports for our company evey month involving our shipping carriers and costs, etc. Adding in the shipping times vs. expected shipping time would be a huge benefit to really see if the cost correlates with actual fulfillment on promised times. CW
There should be a way to get end of the month inventory reports for accounting purposes. This should be available by month for the whole year. Totals of products would only be necessary.
Right now on the customer overview you can see orders by state, which is a neat infographic but it's only for the US. It would be a lot more useful if there was one for Canada!
Have the option to show orders that were shipped twice or more than once. Show tracking numbers and shipment dates.
We re-ship orders when they are damaged or lost in transit. This would help with checking to be sure claims have all been filed.
Many couriers offer refunds on their packages if they have not met the delivery deadlines. Does shipstation offer any type of report or help for us to track and collect refunds on our shipments which were not delivered by the guaranteed delivery date? If not, is this a feature that could be added, specifically for Canada Post, UPS, DHL, FedEx?
This would be a HUGE great feature to add to shipstation.
Hi @expressre
Thanks for checking in on this one. Weâre still interested in this idea - at this time it is not on our immediate roadmap but itâs one weâd like to keep open for now.
Hi,
This is a must feature. We sell on Walmart.com but I don't see what's the difference which marketplace you're selling because you'll have to add info manually. The first step would be to let users create their own cost fields (option to add multiple fields) since every company has other costs, then ShipStation will calculate all fields together.
In the future, integrations with Inventory lab etc. will make the manual process automatic.
Can't wait for this.
Thank you.
Would be AWESOME if the "low inventory report" showed "NO inventory" also! Its GREAT to know when we are low on something but even better to know when we are OUT of something! HELP!!! : )
in order to calculate the total cost of a product. It would be nice to have a report in ship station that had the shipping cost at a line item/sku level
I'd like a *State Comparison Report* (similar to the Country Comparison Report). That way, we could easily review not just total transactions - monthly, quarterly, and annual basis by State, but also include total sales by State in that dashboard. Based on the recent South Dakota Wayfair tax rule - we need to know if we've surpassed either 200 transactions OR $100,000k orders per state, in order to pay taxes on what we've shipped to those states.
Using the historical data, the report would tell us how much it costs to ship an item -- low cost, average cost, high cost. With this information, we could match it to our selling prices to have a better idea of all the costs involved in selling an item.
currently there is no report showing who is a repeat customer and who just ordered once. It makes it challenging to send out thank you notes or give special perks to those who deserve to be recognized and rewarded.
Thank you for considering adding this feature soon.
There really does need to be a report that gives the total inventory by the actual costs of the layers. It appears to be tracked, so there's no reason for it not to be an available option
It would be great to have a system that warned us of delayed, non-moving, or late shipments. Something that could warn us the moment a shipment experiences a delay or misses its delivery date.
An option to create a report that could be run daily/weekly that shows delivery status of packages would be very helpful.
If there is a way to do this now we haven't been able to find it.
If SS factored in the standard USPS / UPS / Fedex zones and transit times by zip code and allowed these to be used as criteria in the automation rules, it would save my team 100's of hours.
IE - if USPS PM is 3 day transit time, choose FC instead || if USPS PM is 2 day transit time, choose PM
or
if UPS zone 4-6 choose 3-day, if zones 1-3 choose ground
The only other option is to create a huge number of rules based on 5K different zips codes AND carrier AND service options, which i don't think SS can even support and is not realistic.
This would allow me to automate carrier/service selection and review carrier OTD so I can 1) proactively reach out to the customer to address the delay, 2) easily compile and submit guaranteed service claims to the carrier, and 3) review OTD metrics by carrier for QBRs and decision making.
