So in V2, you could search something Choose lets way "AWAITING SHIPMENT" tab once and all the following searches would be in that category only, in V3, every new search shows data from ALL tabs, every single time, adding 1-2 seconds on load time and requiring one extra step to select AWAITING SHIPMENT over and over again, If user chooses AWAITING SHIPMENT or Shipped or whatever tab all the next searches should be done in that field only.

I completely agree, searching should keep you in the tab you have chosen instead of defaulting back to "All Search Results".
