Add Pickup Location to Order view page

We’d like to see the pickup location selected by the user when a pickup order is placed. At the moment the order page shows the billing address and ship to address, but we’d like to also see a pickup address chosen by the user when placing the order.

This has been tested on Shopify.

Hey Raul,

You bring up a great point! If you manage multiple locations or warehouses, knowing exactly which location the customer intends to visit is crucial for your packing team.

Currently, ShipStation does not import or display the specific 'Pickup Location' chosen by the customer at checkout. Because pickup orders technically don't have a traditional 'Ship To' destination, ShipStation's API simply drops the location data when pulling the order from Shopify.

As of right now, there isn't a planned update on the roadmap to build a dedicated UI field for this, but I completely agree that it needs to be added as local fulfillment becomes more popular.

 

I will absolutely flag this thread internally for our Integrations team to review. I will also keep this thread open to see if other merchants agree that this would be useful to have. 

Possible workaround is to bring that pick-up info as a custom field or internal note.
