Allow Serialized SN scanned into Shipstation

We have product serialized. each units has a unique SN.

When a units is shipped, how can I scan the SN in Shipstation?

 

Is Shipstation developing a module to allow serialization tracking in the platform?

Thanks for joining us here in the community! We are thrilled you're here with us. 

 

Perhaps one of our wonderful community members has a solution for scanning the serial numbers into ShipStation. My recommendation to have that number in the ShipStation system would be to use either one of the custom fields or an internal note.

 

I can confirm that currently we are not working on serialization tracking, but we are always looking to the future! I'll move this over to our Ideas section where it can be voted on for potential consideration!

Does this have any movement?

 


This request dates back to 2019! SS won't do it because it doesn't generate revenue for them. They will continue to increase the label cost tho! Wait for it.

I was contacted by joanne.sturge@shipstation.com regarding beta testing for lot tracking, tailored for FIFO. This does not scan serial numbers per SKU. Is this what you had in mind for this request?
