Automated email for Reports

I am looking to do two things more efficiently: 1) Daily reports to multiple emails of the days raw data shipped order export. 2) Monthly reports to multiple emails of the shipping cost export for the month. Thanks for looking into this!

Thanks for the update @Daniel! Are you not finding the weekly digest emails helpful? Depending on what email client you use, you may also be able to create a rule to forward this email to the appropriate addresses if they are not ShipStation users. Hi..I am looking for a similar functionality. I would like shipstation to send automated customized reports at the end of each day. Currently can it be done ?

We endorse this as well @Utopian Coffee. Our controller would love it if we could send out an automated report of the day's shipping to multiple emails (the emails of our sales team).

Weekly and Monthly I have to manually generate and export into Excel the following reports - Raw Orders Shipped Items Shipped Orders If the option to schedule this process and send, via email, to a recipient list was available, that would be wonderful.

Please add the ability to schedule exports to be automatically generated and the ability to designate an email recipient of the exported file or even FTP delivery of the export. Running and downloading exports via the UI is primitive and not scaleable. Thanks

I would like the ability to have a report emailed to me daily. One that is standard or that I've customized would be helpful.

Also, being able to filter the report based on certain columns would be great. So, a {time of day} send me {shipments} && {changed status} && {carrier} For example: at the end of each day, email a spreadsheet of my shipments that hit the mail stream (i.e., Shipped changed to TRUE) Right now the solution is to export the entire report everyday and then manually filter it down to the orders that are shipped and then compare that to the previous report.

The built-in reports feature is great, it provides exactly the reports we need, but we do need these to be automatically emailed out daily, weekly etc. Right now i really need the daily sales report to be emailed out. How far are you with implementing an auto-email feature?

Ideally any report would be great to have the ability to schedule/automate. We have a need to send the shipping manifests to specific users daily in different locations as adding the step to login to a system they don't necessarily use frequently acts friction in their workflow. Also, this could better support FTP functionality. So if we could also choose from formats (xls, txt, xml, etc.) that would be ideal.

We are looking for a way to create a filtered report, perhaps just a subset of skus that shipped each day/week/month, etc, and schedule this report to run daily and email to a list of users (or to me for auto-forwarding). This is a 3 voter request for me!

I really need the shipped item report emailed or better yet sent via FTP daily. This would allow me to automate inventory deductions from my inventory software (which I currently do manually)

daily report for us would be great ... sent to an email address showing the age of the orders.

Daily report would be big for us too. - # of awaiting shipments would be first priority. next would be - age of the orders - product / SKU breakdown - package type Would save me loads of time preparing my morning meeting for my team where we discuss the workload for the day.

Being able to automatically email a report on a daily basis would be FANTASTIC.

I envision having an existing pre-defined report run on a user-specified schedule and then sent via email to an individual or distribution list. Next evolution, to be able to customize a report including the layout and data fields. This should also have the capability to be emailed to an individual or a distribution list. FYI, I'm a Fortune 500 business and IT consultant and believe what I'm asking for is expected in a platform such as ShipStation. To deliver this would equate to "Meets Expectations", but would be seen by the community as a huge win and possibly a differentiator. This idea has been under review since 2016. Would love to see a roadmap or changelog of what improvements have been made to this software and what's in queue.

Hello, since system access permissions are such a big deal these days for infosecurity, being able to auto-export shipment data to folks who need info, but don't really need access seems like a pretty critical feature. Thanks!

It would be nice to be able to have the inventory reports automated based on time. Directly for us it would be nice if we could run the "Inventory Status Report" daily and send to multiple emails in the company. This would give our sales team a simple document for quick reference on calls.

It would be great to be able to set up an alert, received via email, each time a new SKU was tagged as out of stock. Either this, or to be able to schedule a report on cancelled orders because of 'out of stock' (to be received daily).
