Very Frustrating!  When someone orders with an automatic discount applied, it won’t change the declaration.  I have to manually adjust EVERY SINGLE sale item for international orders.  It is time consuming and if I miss one, I have to pay lot of extra money in duties!  Please help!!

Hey TTT,

To give you some transparent insight into why this happens: it comes down to how Shopify passes discount data through their API. When an “automatic discount” is applied to a customer's cart, Shopify often sends that to ShipStation as an order-level total adjustment, rather than discounting the individual items themselves.

We actually have this exact issue logged internally with our Integration engineering teams. However, because fixing it requires completely rebuilding how we intercept, interpret, and mathematically distribute order-level discounts from Shopify, it is currently not on the short-term roadmap, but thank you for flagging this and I’ll let the product team know about your request.
