Packing slips need to print automatically. I'm trying to move from ShipWorks to ShipStation, and this is a roadblock. In ShipWorks I even designated which printer. For instance, I have a printer dedicated to Medium Flat Rate Boxes. Every packing slip on that printer goes into a Medium Flat Rate box.

When my team arrives early in the morning, they immediately begin picking orders. No need to touch a computer.

Have we made any progress on this?

Hello @contact10!

Thank you for supporting this feature request! While it’s not currently on our roadmap, the development team is aware of its importance to our merchants. If there are any updates regarding this feature, we’ll be sure to keep the community informed!

Happy Shipping!

This thread is twelve years old and yet it's not currently on the roadmap?

Currently my sticking point for transition from shipworks to shipstation. Not instilling a lot of confidence that you listen to the customers if this is the most requested feature for the past decade and you're not even looking into its implementation.

Adding a bump to this request. For our operations, we want automatic printing of labels and packing slips together on 4 x 6 when a new order comes in. We have multiple locations and orders are tagged and assigned to a user so each location only see their orders and not companywide orders. We would need settings to accommodate for that.

Seeing the printer with a label is a much better visual cue than checking ship station. It's faster too.

Adding a bump.

Adding a bump to this request as well.

Hi, I run operations at a U.S.-based manufacturer shipping hundreds of orders every week. Like most of you, we’ve been annoyed with this problem for years.

So, our team built a little stand-alone device that auto-prints packing slips when new orders come in. It sits by the pack station and automatically prints slips as orders arrive — no browser, no clicking, no scripts. Our team grabs the stack and gets moving.

It’s been super helpful for us, and we realized others might benefit too. If you’d like to get a free unit, we’re looking for 5-10 beta testers to receive a free unit. If you're interested, check out https://pickstation.co/beta

Also bumping this one -- we finally hit our breaking point on this one!

We ended up building a small standalone device that plugs into a label printer and auto-prints packing slips as orders come in. Our crew now just shows up and grabs the stack and gets to work.

It's been a big help for us, and figured others here might be in the same boat. If you're curious, feel free to DM!

Bumping this as I also need to see a resolution to this. We only have 1 webstore at my location that runs through ShipStation so it is way to easy to overlook orders for a couple of days if we are really busy with the primary systems orders.

This has been requested going back to 2014, it seems like such an easy addon with the shipstation connect. Any idea when it will be added Shipstation?
