Automations that are triggered after the order is imported

It seems to me that a lot of people are asking for the same thing. In general, I believe shipstation needs automation that is triggered after a specific event that is chosen by the user.

 

The trigger can/should be anything like the scale readout, a tag being assigned to an order, something being printed (like the pick slip or packing slip or even Shipping label), and everything in between.

I built a chrome extension for making more granulated automation rule runs, and it’s called ShipExtension. It can read the Shipstation DOM, so having automation rules run off of scale weight changes in the UI is possible.

 

Shipstation taking forever to make these features led me to making ShipExtension. I’m sure many other users are leveraging AI and the ss API to fill in the gaps. Let me know if you want help getting set up
