Being able to customize the name of each Custom Field would be incredibly helpful.

This seems like such an easy change that has been asked for since 2016, can we get any answer from Shipstation on this?

I too would love to see the renaming of custom fields implemented. What's up Shipstation?!

I wanted to comment on this as it seems like people have been voting yes for this for 7 years now but nothing has happened.  Please add this feature.  When you have an organization using Shipstation and getting everyone to know what Custom 1 as opposed to Custom 2 without having it say something is a huge problem.  If we could change this, that would help immensely.  Please fix it.

it seems ShipStation does not even monitor this site as this request has been here so long. 

The customer field "labels" should be able to be customized.  It wold make the interface a lot more useful and require less training to make sure that if these fields are manually entered. That the correct data gets in the correct field. 

We are not asking you to change the database field name.  Leave that as you have it.

All we are asking is to be able to change the label for the field in the frontend interface. 

if your developers are so afraid of these fields not correlating with the API.  Just put the API field name in () under the field label.  ie:  (customField1)

From a development standpoint, I dont understand why this has gotten no attention from Shipstation with so many requesting it and it being such a simple thing to implement. 

Please implement this! We would love to rename Custom Field 1 for our shipping process.
