We currently create customs declarations from order items in Ship Station, but we have a lot of items which have the same HS code.
It would be useful if there was an option to automatically group items with the same HS code into a single line on the customs declaration.
For instance, change:
1 x birthday card
1 x birthday card
1 x christmas card
1 x wrapping paper
to:
3 x greetings cards
1 x wrapping paper

Thank you for sharing this! You both bring up incredibly valid points—especially with Canada now charging customs clearance fees per item line.
Currently, ShipStation does not have a feature to automatically group or merge items with the same HS code into a single customs line.
I am submitting this directly to our product team as a feature request. Adding an automation toggle to 'Aggregate Customs by HS Code' would save you all a massive amount of time. Thank you for outlining this use case so clearly!
