PLEASE change this feature. We are wasting so much time combining orders each shipment. This month, we are having to look through over 1,600 orders to combine before shipment.
It would be so great if they could automatically combine by order date when they transfer over to shipstation from the other platforms.
We are going to have to switch to another provider if this is not fixed soon because we do not have the man power to combine that many orders anymore. It is such a waste of our valuable time.
This would really be helpful. Especially at a minimum for the store level. We have multiple avenues and although still a long shot we would get multiple orders accross product lines on the same day I would like to get the ability to combine orders from a store automatically. We do allot of upsel products so we have combined shipping all the time. Quit a pain the way it needs to be done. Even if there was a way to select and combine without doing each one separate
Why is this feature not added yet? It seems like a no brainer. It is simple, just alert to combine orders or not to, or allow user to choose for "auto-combine no matter what" for those that do not want to (seems like would be very rare) then can opt out or choose not too at the point of the alert. Please add this feature
this would be an amazing feature and would definitely save us so much time. when we have over 1000 orders a day it takes us about 20 min to combine orders
I'm going to second this feature request. Having to manuall sort through lists of customers to look for duplicate names and then manually combining them is a pain. Once I clicked on the wrong lines and combined two separate orders which, obviously, meant one customer didn't get the order and another getting some unexpected freebies!
We have to combine 200-500 orders everyday. And since the system has to refresh after each combine request, it takes a really long time to get all those done.
Also there has NEVER been a time when we have not wanted to combine orders when applicable.
Hope this feedback is helpful and an option to add this feature is created for those who desperately need it. Thanks
I second the comment by Ezra Avidan Adir & EJD INC.. We have upwards of 1000 orders per day during the holiday season and it would be nice to have that feature like Auctane. In Auctane when orders were refreshed that Combing the Orders was he first thing that appeared in the new refresh screen. You had to approved combining before moving one. Truthfully when would you NOT combine an order. Seems like a no-brainer...
We're offering a "shipping upgrade" during a post sale email campaign to get people to go to a premium 2 day over the free slower shipping. It would be great if we could create a rule to automatically merge an order with that sku in it into the customers most recent order. Really hope this can be a thing.
Yes, there will be times when we do not want to combine orders even though they have the same shipping address. So it is best to make combine orders optional. But one this that is very important is to not let combined orders get lost. Right now, only the surviving order get its data intact, whereas the combined orders are all lost. But data like Order#, Invoice# are still very important and must remain searchable.
Please expose this in the order filter / automation rule editor.
Then one could design a rule such that: If an order's address matches a different, unshipped order's address, you can have an option to combine them, or treat them separately (e.g. manual review, rather than auto-assigning to a warehouse)
I think it would be great if Shipstation could combine orders that come in from ClickFunnels within minutes of each other from the same user.
That would enable sellers to save $x,*** each year on fulfillment costs.
We also combine all orders with the same address always. It would also be helpful to add combine and split to the publicly exposed API if the UI doesn't have it automated.
We would love to see this feature implemented but with the ability to run it on a store by store basis perhaps. We do have orders that could be from the same customers but that are in different stages of production so we would not combine them.
