Customizable Pick List

Any update on this, shipstation? I know this is possible with shipworks, but I'd love to see shipstation implement this kind of functionality as I like your software better.

This would definitely be a great feature

We are really in need of this. As we have grown it would cut down on training time if we could design the pick list to fit our process of item location--> barcode--> description--> quantity. We also need much larger images to reduce confusion. Zach

'@zcolander: Right! Full customization in this picklist would definitely take shipstation to an entire new level! We could use it for so much more than we do now and it would allow expansion to many many more marketplaces without having to have any functionality built in to the core website, but rather everything can funnel to shipstation.

Please move the status from Under Review to Planned as this is a very important feature for our picking team. They currently pick with limited information and our workflow would be so much more efficient.

Hey @everyone, thanks for the updates and comments. As you may have already seen, we’ve just released our inventory management solution (and are free to talk about it!). This means two things: 1 we really want to improve inventory to help users get ship done! 2 some of our resources have opened up so we can look into the possibility of features like this and others in the forum. I think everyone simply wants a fully customizeable picklist. Similar to what you can do with the packing slips. The ability to format, pull variables, conditions, include attributes that are imported etc... This would be HUGE and from my research you'd be the only shipping software that's widely available to add such a feature. Shipworks is the ONLY other software I've found that is even capable of something like this, but I honestly do NOT like their software very much and they aren't too receptive to adding new useful features.

Anything new on this? We are kind of at the point where we have to have this in the shipping software to further expand in to other marketplaces.....

We have been looking for this feature since we joined ShipStation. Everything Nick Daniels mentioned would be a huge benefit. Our most pressing need is the ability to show information stored in the Custom Field 1, 2, & 3 on the picklist.

When we create pick lists, sometimes we need to change the format of the pick list. Or get the information into another file... Is there a way to get the pick list to be downloaded in an Excel version? It would be much easier to customize...

A way to download the pick list in an excel version would be helpful as well...

Hopefully something like this happens soon. I love the software and features, but this functionality is now becoming one of the most important features for us as we continue to expand to more marketplaces. The more attnetion and votes we give this the less they can ignore it :)

Can you please add an option where we can add Avg. sales price for an item we sold in the pick list. Than way we can see the product we sold, quantity we sold and the Avg prc the item was sold for in one sheet.

If we could simply add a barcode for each order number (or the scan to view barcode), this would make a world of difference for us. We currently do not use pick lists for this reason, but would really like to.

We are in the seafood business and we have single items and packs with multiple items in them. Would be nice to narrow it down to individual items. For Example: Example Order 1 Atlantic Salmon - 14 Example Order 2 Shrimp & Scallops ( 6 Packs of Shrimp and 6 Packs of Scallops) When it comes to the picklist I would like for it to be: Atlantic Salmon 14 Shrimp 6 Scallops 6

We use the picking technique of "tote-picking". We need a solution that allows us to print a special kind of pick list, very similar to the "order-combined" template currently in use on Shipstation. The small change is detailed below: Our picker has a cart with 16 totes on it and a pick list telling him what to pick. We would like this pick list to not only say what order an item belongs to (and what QTY), but a "tote number" between 1 and 16. In other words, each tote number correlates to an actual order. So tote 1 = Order 1234, tote 2 = order 123, etc... So the picker is picking to the tote number, rather than the order number. Thanks,

We currently use USPS Flat Rate envelopes and boxes as our go-to shipping service. In addition, we are now adding an automated box maker to our warehouse to help with cubic dimensional shipments. It would be great to add size attributes/shipment types to a pick list and completely organize before getting Ship-Done!

We really need to be able to customize pick lists as well. I really need a way to include the [Internal Note] on the pick list and it would be great if I could create a custom template for my pick list similar to the way I can for packing slips. When can we expect this feature to implemented?

Not having the customer name on the pick list is as useful as having the customer name and no items to pick. C'mon!

The pick list has a column for "Description" but it looks like its pulling data from the "item Name" field. Can this be fixed to show the description of the item? This seems like a simple fix. Would rather not use the "item name" field since certain marketplaces have some different variations on the product name. Our warehouse would prefer the description (which has the size and color spelled out clearly) to avoid shipping an incorrect item.

I am a media seller and I carry identical items of books and DVD's in different conditions. Without a condition field in the Pick List (i.e. Used;Very Good or Brand New) it would be impossible for me to pick out my orders for the day. Without this functionality, ShipStation becomes useless for media sellers like myself.

Customization pick lists are a must.

Is there any timeline for this?

It would be a great help to have this done
