Actually, i think from the warehouse operator's prospects they care more about where the products is. they dont have to know what it is but they have to know the product SKU and their inventory location instead of warehouse location.
please help to add or switch the warehouse location displays on the pick list into inventory locations.
please, this will help a lot
We would love to have a pick list that groups the items by order. So basically like the order summary, but with just the order # and items in that order. It would also be nice if it could include the package/dimensions/carrier as well so the pick list can be used to pack the orders as well.
Hi, This thread has been around for a while.
I would also like to be able to customize the pick list by adding the number of orders on the pick list and a couple of blank lines for Start Time, End Time and Shipper.
I'd like to be able to sort my pick list by: # of items then name.
Currently I can do either one, but not both. But obviously, multi-factor sorting is possible, because Warehouse Location then SKU is an option. I feel like this would be a very easy fix. Are pick lists going to become any more customizable? Many of these comments have been here for years, and apparently this item has been "Under Review" since 2017.
On the "Product Pick List" it's nice to have the "SKU" listed under the ITEM # column as you currently do. However, it would also be very helpful if we had the option to print the products internal âDescriptionâ, âSKUâ or maybe the "Fulfillment SKU" on the Pick List as well.
This is handy for those of us who need to quickly see information from our suppliers where we get certain items from.
Any update on this? We could really use some customization options on pack lists. Specifically the ability to highlight/emphasize orders that involve multiple quantities purchased of the same item.
Would like to customize font size, layout and fields for picklists. The current picklist page does not work well with Etsy stores and does not allow you to order the list by order date.
See attached visual explanation of issue at hand.
The current picklist settings allows a merchant to sort their pick list by the following options:
- SKU
- NAME
- SKU AND NAME
- DO NOT SUMMARIZE
Despite the first option stating summarise by âSKUâ it does not just summarise by âSKUâ. It also takes in the Shopify product line properties, which for our gifting store is a gift message and delivery date. All of which will be unique to each individual order.
Therefore when âsummarizingâ by SKUS (because SS takes into account the varying line item properties) it just spits out a long list of each individual order instead of grouping the sames SKUs together (because no 2 customers will have the same gift message or delivery date).
SS needs to rename the current summarize by âSKUâ option and call it summarise by âSKU and Product Optionsâ
And then also create a new setting option that is just called âSKUâ and only looks at the âSKUâ and ignores everything else.
This information is displayed in other parts of SS but is not made printable which is frustrating.

We offer gift boxes that contain several items. Right now, those items are a footnote to the gift box on the pick list. We would love to be able to extract those items from the gift box and add them individually to the rest of the pick list. So, if we have orders for A, B, and C, and a gift box that included A and B, the totals on the pick list would be A=2, B=2, C=1 and not A=1 B=1 C=1 and Gift Box=1. Knowing that there is a gift box is irrelevant for our picking purposes. I've attached a file with a few examples. Adding this feature would be a game changer for us in our busiest times when we can have well over 100 orders in a day. Thanks for your help with this!
One quick-fix could be that instead of printing as a PDF we could export it as a csv. Then we could customize it however we want in Excel or Google Sheets.
We need a pick list that is in a Spreadsheet format a PDF is unless. We have tagged and categorized all of our items, but the 300 hours to do so is useless because we can not sort and filter the date is any fashion. It is very frustrating as we have to manually , line by line enter the pick list information into a sheet so that we can group like items together so that we can maximize our manufacturing and pick times. We need a Excel formatted Pick list. A PDF is useless.
