When you're processing a return label and your ShipStation balance is too low, it just declines the charge. No prompt, no option to fix it from that screen. You have to stop, go navigate to a completely different page, add funds, and then come back and start over. It's a really annoying interruption to the workflow for something that should be pretty simple to handle.

It would be great if there was just some way to add funds right from that screen when it fails. A popup, an inline prompt, literally anything. It doesn't need to be fancy, it just needs to not kick you out of what you're doing.

And before SS says to just turn on auto-funding, no, that shouldn't be the workaround here. That's a separate thing and people shouldn't have to enable it just to avoid getting blocked on returns.

What makes it even more frustrating is that this isn't how it works for regular outbound labels. When you try to print a label and your balance is low, ShipStation tells you and gives you a way to fund your account. It doesn't just silently fail. Why doesn't returns work the same way? It should.
