Please enable this feature. It has been open for 4 years with 120 votes. Its very important.

50+ comments, two+ years, 120 votes. What does it take before ShipStation says "Yes, we hear you, we will implement this feature". How hard can it be?

I have to say that this is becoming a bigger hassle for us also. What I do as a workaround right now is to create a batch that is specifically for non North American destinations and add all those so that at least when I have to change the printer options to 8x11 and two per page, it does a few labels that way. What happens is that I procrastinate and those orders stagnate in our system for a few days. Of course, that's the trick right... Labels to Canada work just fine on the Zebra 4x6 thermal labels so it's not just International, it's non North American International that I want to assign a different print template.

Hi, everyone! Thank you for checking in again! We’ve been busy working on bringing great features your way like Quickship, Ship-By dates, and labels without orders (check out the Release Notes!) with more great things to come so, as you’ve noticed, it’s been a little quiet on this front here. We read all of your feedback daily and reach out when more information is needed, so any time you have more thoughts or examples about this printing idea, please let us know here! At this time, I don’t have any updates for you as we are still researching this idea and the technical issues it presents. By voting and continuing to add your thoughts and comments, you’re helping guide the design of a solution. If we takeaway something from one of your comments, you may be invited to preview the feature before everyone else!

Right now this topic is has the 11th most votes: http://support.shipstation.com/forums/330429-product-feedback-fresh-ideas/filters/top If Shipstation thinks their decision is still a long way off (maybe another short 4 years?!) is there way to make it easier to see what size paper is currently selected? This way, we could all save some time if the printing settings are already what we want.

Hey @critterandguitari - Thank you for reaching out! I wasn't able to mention it before, but we've recently released our Inventory Management solution which means two things: 1 we're want to improve it as fast as possible so we're sort-of busy on that front but it also means 2 we're also not as-busy as before so we can start looking into other ideas presented in the Product Feedback forum! As with all comments, we'll consider adding additional information regarding document formats for future releases.

Please please please we need this dual printing format feature! For such an convenient program the lack of this feature makes it cumbersome. Fingers crossed :)

How many votes does it take to get this simple feature added to the program? It is way too long and an absolute headache to switch sizes and configurations. It's not rocket science and frustrating as heck to see Shipstation get all of this feedback and ignore it.

Hey @Bruce! As we continue to roll out other new features, we appreciate the feedback and votes from you and other users on this. I don't have any updates on this feature being added to our interface, at this time. This really helps us to let our product team know which features we should start looking into adding. And we'll keep you guys posted here as to any updates that may come up on this or to any previews that may come along.

We don't care about other new features...we just want this one!

It's a shame that a feature request with 132 votes is still "under review" but some features with significantly less votes are already "started".

Also, this is now over 4 years old. How much longer could you possibly need to "review" it? I love ShipStation, but this is just a huge hassle.

I can appreciate that this is a tough nut to crack but as much as shipstation prides itself in automation and making things easy for users, this is a major problem. Why is it difficult? Well, some international destinations allow for a single page label that fits on 4x6" such as Canada. I've seen other countries as well but we'd have to be able to set which countries go to the laser printer set to two per page @ 8.5 x 11 and which go to the label 4x6". I'll tell you what is NOT productive.. Setting the printer to 8.5 x 11, two per page to print ONE international label and then running a batch of 50 labels and forgetting to switch the printer back. It creates labels and you can't do anything to fix it so you end up cutting up the pages and having to use packing tape.

Hello to Shipstation: Would you all be so kind as to provide the users of your product the feature enhancement list and associated votes related to each so that we can see where in the list the much needed feature sits in relation to others and when we can expect it to move up the ladder. It feels as though we all submit feedback to you to improve this really great product but one feature that will make our lives easier is being sidelined for some reason in lieu of other features that (unknown to users) may be in higher demand. If you ask for feedback, here it is and the votes should dictate what the product manager implements, not what he/she feels. This way you get a free focus group to help you tweak the program to the best of it's abilities. Peace

We just started using ShipStation and this was the first obvious problem that we ran into. I would refrain from claiming "batch shipping" until this is resolved. Switching printer settings back and forth forth for each order is silly.

New user - Count me in for this feature request as well. We have 2 shipping locations, one uses DYMO 4XL and the other (for now) a standard HP printer. They have to print to PDF, dork with it, and batch print to get around this issue. It would be extremely useful to define a printer per logged in user account, or as others here state, allow for 2 different Label printer settings via toggle/dropdown for any given order.

We need to be able to define our printing options either by countries, i.e. US vs. Non-US, OR shipping service/level I.e. USPS vs. DHL Right now we have to print for the international side 4x6+packing list, but for domestic only 4x6. So rather than having to switch my printing options before processing a batch, I would like to be able to define them ahead of time.

I get branded UPS and FedEx labels for FREE, currently to utilize them I have to change the roll out with each shipment. So in theory, this suggestion would work if you can create an automation rule that would send the label to a particular printer based on the carrier.

I'm so surprised this hasn't been addressed yet! It was one of the first issues I had with Shipstation. Anyone who ships domestically AND internationally needs this!

With having multiple Shipstation users, It would be really great if each user can have a different printing setups for labels and invoices. The reason being, that we have one account where we need the labels and packing slips on one sheet of paper, but it becomes an issue when we have orders with multiple items and need to print each packing slips individually because of how the label setup is. Is there a way that each user can have their own label/packing slip setup differently? Thank you Jessica

I would spend up another vote or two on this one but I have to believe staff and management are already well aware of how important it is to us. I'm just commenting to keep the conversation up top. Again, here is my workaround if it helps anyone. First arrange your list of orders by country. Then setup your shipping credentials for all the International orders that require multi-page prints and add them to the same batch. Change the printer setting. Then run the batch. Change the printer back and proceed to domestic shipments. See, even if Shipstation cannot figure out how to automagically direct labels to the correct printers, it would be so nice to be able to configure printer profile A and printer profile B and have that be selectable on the order detail page somewhere without having to back all the way out to setup, printing, click, click, click, click. Sorry shipstation, if I leave for another vendor I will tell you right here that this lack of feature is the reason.

Please put this at the forefront of feature development. It is very time-consuming to have to break up my shipping process, turn off ShipStation Connect, reconfigure my print preferences, and then reset them all after printing my Priority Mail International labels. I just printed a test EMS label on my new DYMO printer to see if it would be a one-page or multi-page customs declaration, and the small text on the label is a bit hard to read on such a small label.

Get this implemented already please. It would be a great time saver!

Yes! this would be amazing. How do I vote more than 3!?

An issue since 2011. Any update on this? We want integrated label and packing list on domestic, and a different configuration for international orders. 9:56 am We are forced to not use integrated label pack list (wasting time matching) because we are forced to print a DHL archive copy that is thrown away. tolerable on a sheet of blank paper, but not on a 50cent integrated label/pick list.
