Include all relevant data when downloading order info. Often times I need to contact the person who purchased the products and as it works now I would have to go back to the shopping cart to get that info slowing the process.

It help us minimize fraud (If the billing address in the US and shipping address in China for example)

Please add this function. This is huge, I'm incredibly surprised that you're not getting more complaints about this. Our team has to manually check marketplace to check if there is a mismatch. CC companies only protect us if we ship to a billing address. I know for certain your customers are losing all kinds of money because of this. This feature, by itself is enough to make us go back to shipworks.

I cannot believe this doesn't happen already! This is a huge double check for us for fraud.

I'll +3 this as well. While I understand that shipstation itself has no direct use for the billing details, it is important for us to display this full info on packing slips. We also currently export data out of shipstation (since it connects to all our marketplaces, no other "cloud" company can do that) into QuickBooks. It makes accounting very difficult when all we get is the billing name, but no address or contact info.

I hope this feature be added soon. Having the billing information has shown to be a necessity for us when printing our packing slips.

  • August 10, 2015
Yes, PLEASE! We have many customers with multiple shipping addresses and need this feature. We use the packing slips as invoices, so this would be a great thing to see.

Yeah this feature missing presents a huge gap in how we use our packing slips to sometimes contact customers. The most important seeing a side by side of the billing and shipping addresses is that it is one of the first ways we can detect a fraudulent order. I'm kind of frustrated that I have to vote on this feature when it should come standard.

Adding my support for this feature. I've just gone through the process of designing custom packing slips only to discover now that the customer billing information, other than name, doesn't have a variable. Sigh.

I am a new Shipstation User and this is one of the first things that disappointed me. We have to go to each sales channel to verify the billing address for fraud prevention and also we have copy it from each order so we can paste it in our Quickbooks Invoices and Packing Slips. We currently integrate Shipstation with QuickBooks Desktop but because the Billing Address is not supported by Shipstation, it is not exported to QuickBooks. I believe we should not be discussing this feature. It should have been included from day one.

I would like to see the ability to add the billing address to the packing list. It would make it easier to catch suspicious transactions and fraud

i would strongly recommend that the API should automatically pull it also the billing information on the packing slip and thanks for the great work and trying to help us

I have to agree with Eric S. This is insane that this isn't a standard feature from day one. The billing address is a must have. My plan to Sync from ShipStation to Quickbooks is a bust without the billing address. This complaint was brought up nearly 5 years ago so I don't understand why it hasn't been implemented. Come on guys!

I would like to see the ability to add the billing address to the packing list. some of the accounts we have require the bill to info on the packing slip

  • August 17, 2017
Bill to address is imperative for catching fraud. We manually check every purchase and if the bill to address is different than the ship to address we contact the bank. We have been burned too many times by this little ploy.

agreed, this is huge for fraud detection! Please add this!

is this added yet? I need it!!!

It blows my mind that this is not a feature. Shipstation tells me they already pull the information from the website feed they just don't map it in their database. That sounds simple enough. PLEASE MAP IT!

Yes, agreed. We need this to be available for importing orders into our system correctly. PLEEEEEEASE make it available!

This is very critical and is now a showstopper for us. Please see the response that we get from shipstation when getting details about an order. BillTo fields are empty even though customer has entered different billing address than shipping address. Please look into this on priority. "billTo": { "name": "Anuj Dubey", "company": null, "street1": null, "street2": null, "street3": null, "city": null, "state": null, "postalCode": null, "country": null, "phone": null, "residential": null, "addressVerified": null }

Are there any updates on this? Need this to be an option...

  • May 1, 2018
Hi everyone thank you for checking in on this. We are still interested in this idea and are looking to prioritize it. We want to keep this idea open so other users can comment and add their votes in the meantime. We'll let you know here when we have an update.

This is a huge feature for us as well. It will help us greatly with Fraud Detection

  • July 3, 2018
Anything new on this? Now in July and have not heard either way. Please advise

  • January 24, 2019
what is the status of this? Integrating ShipStation with QuickBooks to create customers and sales receipts is less than optimal when customer billing information isn't populating in ShipStation from sales channels (such as WooCommerce)

What's the best alternative solution if this doesn't look like it's coming anytime soon?
