Live Shipping Rates for WooCommerce

100% agree! @admin please move this up the chain. It's desperately needed for WooCommerce storefronts. Also, maybe a plugin for displaying tracking information in the customer order details page under their account?

Yes... We need this. Why someone like  ShipStation hasn't built this yet just blows my mind. Could instantly get thousands of new customers to ShipStation. 

Absolutely.  I'm forced to use a buggy third-party plugin to accomplish this.

Easyship.com offers live rates integrations with Woocommerce.  I may be forced to switch if Shipstation can't get this integrated.

Yes! That would be amazing if it integrated to set rates at checkout for the customer instead of having to manually set up shipping rate estimates. Especially since some shipment prices with the same weight and distance vary due to whether or not a customer's address is rural. As far as I know, there is no way to account for that in setting up the shipping rates. I'm sure there is a pro version of a plugin somewhere that does that, but I don't feel like that's something I see often enough to be worth paying extra to accommodate, however it is often enough to be annoying. 

@ElfsGiftsOnline I switched to EasyShip. Everything seems to be going really well, you have love shipping rates at checkout. The only thing is, duties and taxes and charges together, so if you don’t want your costumer to pay it, you have to pay both. But the way around that is setting up general tax rules in woocommerce to cover the costs. I’m not even sure ShipStation Offers the tax feature either. 

Shipstation - is this possible? This, combined with the fact that my emails have been going to spam for years and I cant fix it while using Shipstation, going to another service seems to be the only way to fix everything at once. 

I am as well baffled that Shipstation offers UPS shipping, but does not offer a method for live shipping rates for WooCommerce.  Please develop this.

@Joshjungle Ive moved on to EasyShip even though it feels inferior in almost every way. I went simply for the in-cart calculations so that I dont have to mess with UPS accounts, a Stamps.com account, a Fedex account (etc) and then connect them to a third party plugin that would often give me issues. 

Shipstation could hire a couple developers to just build and maintain an "official" third party plugin and charge an additional subscription fee for that plugin or something. Id gladly pay $5-10 a month for it. 

Yes, yes please add this feature. I am making money off shipping and I want those discounts offered to my customers. Please add this for WooCommerce.

Shipstation is really missing the ability to display live shipping rates at WooCommerce Cart and Checkout pages utilizing Shipstation API without having to rely on third parties. I feel like many others...it may be time to leave Shipstation, if they don't offer this very soon!

It feels like Shipstation is leaving the Woocommerce communities out to dry by not providing this. We could increase our conversions if we could serve shipstation rates.

I've since to moved on to a different service. Shipstation is better in every way but the lack of live rates... I guess emails spam is also an issue with Shipstation but there has apparently been some movement on that issue. 

Can’t find any provider that actually serves the rates they all point you to the carrier plugins.

Another vote for this. As the holidays approach, I may need to shift elsewhere to cleanup excessive plugins that are slowing down our site just to get live rates from elsewhere. 

For the sake of argument, shipstation basic is $29/month, the 1Team SS plugin is free but $15.00/mo (or $79/year ($6.58/mo)) for all functionality we get within shipstation. So that's $35.58/mo IF you pay annually. 

The free version works but it loads tons of methods and names everything "shipstation" or "stamps.com" which is just leverage to force the pro version to get renaming and limiting methods capabilities.

100% agree with everyone requesting ShipStation to add this. It's a common-sense need for an obviously large percentage of ShipStation customers....

Its crazy that they have a plugin and all it does is allow label printing and push orders to ShipStation.

Who is printing their shipping labels from within woocommerce if they are using shipstation, which has a desktop application AND web interface???

The ONLY "integration" that is ever needed for a shipping plugin for woocommerce is to show the correct shipping rates.

In this case a second feature of pushing the order to shipstation is required, but on the most basic level  "shipping integration" is "show me the price to ship this thing I'm buying"

At this point if nobody is going to do anything about it ill just take the shipstation plugin and add the functionality of getting the prices from the other plugin and sell it. 

Add me to the very long list of people needing this integration. If the answer is "no" it would be great to know why, so we can evaluate our future support/utilization of the ShipStation service or move on to something that integrates better rate wise.

I guess after two years of waiting we're changing shipping platforms.  Its beyond absurd that such a needed and common integration is missing from this platform.

We're in the same boat. I've done some digging and not only does EasyShip have live rates for Woocommerce, but they also have live customs/duties so that international customers can pay duties up front, or at least be aware of the charges. If you're doing international shipping on Woocommerce, Shipstation really isn't viable in comparison.
