I moved on long ago. Shipstation doesnt care about this clearly - they could probably hire a decent developer off of Fiverr and have this going within 30 days.

ShipStation, your community of users has been begging for this for years. We've waited patiently while you said you had it in your plans to do, year after year. Now it seems like this will never be implemented. People are frustrated and leaving, going to alternatives (like easyship). Would you please move this to the top of your list? Why would you not? It's not complicated. All the shipping providers have APIs. Many have done it as third parties. For you to do it for your own system has to be relatively trivial. The investment will pay for itself quickly! Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you all for reaching out and inquiring about this idea. At this time there are no new updates to provide, I can understand wanting this feature and can assure you all of this feedback is being provided to our team directly.

Thank you for your continued patience,

I've made the switch to Easyship.  So far so good.  Integrates into Woocommerce nicely with what appear to be reliable live rates without requiring any additional plugins to purchase or maintain.  There are a few little quirks, but mostly it's just about learning a new system.

It'll save me quite a bit of money for not having to have third-party support for live rates since Shipstation still (and apparently will never) have this integration for Woocommerce.

I cant even comprehend how they havent thought about building out this feature yet or to fix email spam issues that have been known for 5+ years. "No new updates to provide" means that a slew of people are going to continue to look elsewhere.

This topic started back in 2020 (at least) on this discussion:
https://community.shipstation.com/t5/Order-Source-Integrations/Sending-rates-from-ShipStation-to-WooCommerce-for-customer/m-p/142

If you guys have no plans to do it, can you just say so? This is SOOOO needed.

Please add this. Major gap - especially considering how massive Woocommerce is. I just signed up for a free trial and this lack may be a deal breaker for us. Frankly, I'm pretty shocked the Woocommerce plugin I just installed doesn't handle live rates. So odd. Big miss.

We desperately need this for WooCom too!  Any idea if and when live rates integration will be available for WooCom?

Update us please!

Just another frustrated customer wondering why this has not been implemented yet. Since the last update seems to be "there is no update", I assume that means they are not even working on this.

Are the people who switched Easyship still happy with still happy them?

Hello @KO94_2!

Thank you for expressing your frustration with this. Currently, we need permission from Woohoo Commerce to do this. Currently, we have not been able to get their approval.

Have an excellent rest of your Friday!

ShipStation - When will Live Shipping Rates for WooCommerce be implemented? This has been an issue for at least 4 years. Are you going to implement this or not? I am researching a move to another provider.

They clearly aren't going to.  That fact that the admin above referred to it as "Woohoo Commerce" should tell you everything you need to know.  Not to mention there aren't any permission or approvals required, tons of 3rd party plugins out there for Woo.

Just switch to EasyShip and be done with it.  We switch a while ago and it integrates perfectly with live rate support and a few other benefits over Shipstation.

Yeah, ShipStation doesn't care about WooCommerce at all. They have obviously done the math, and if they lose 80% of their Woo business because of this lack of features, it won't impact them.

Please don't take my word for it. Go look at their Innovation site and find something that they have launched with WooCommerce support (https://innovation.shipstation.com/)

Hello @DaniM

I also wanted to share a quick update from our development team. We’re aware that ShipStation support for WooCommerce Live Rates has been a topic of interest, and I’m pleased to let you know that it is on our roadmap. This is a fairly large project with several moving parts, and the current estimated timeline is mid-to-late 2026. I’ll be sure to share any updates as they become available, though please keep in mind that this timeline is subject to change as work progresses.

Your feedback plays a significant role in shaping our priorities, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your needs with us. I’ve also set a reminder to check in with the team after Q1 to see how things are progressing!

Happy Shipping!

-Cara
