Multiple-parcel orders and ship confirmation with Amazon

Since Ship Station and Amazon have not worked out an interface for confirming the tracking number for each box on multiple-parcel orders making extra work for the customer, why doesn't SS have a new package option that includes reporting each order tracking no.  Amazon rep. told me that the "master tracking no." does not work and we must report the tracking no. for each box.  We would be willing to pay more each month for SS to do this service.
