Currently it requires an admin to edit Carrier options. We do not normally allow overnight shipping and because of the extreme difference in price from ground to over-night air we typically have the option turned off so none of our shippers can accidently use it. There are occasions when we get a customer call and they are willing to pay for the overnight shipping, however, the only users that can make this change to the services of a carrier are admin users. Which means that I have to allow users a lot more access than I would like just so they can flip that switch in the carrier options.
Notes:
- These are carriers that are already set up, you're just changing allowed services of that carrier.
