Our business is a print on demand business. We have 4-5 preset package sizes that we ship our prints in. Our idea is to keep track of how many boxes we have in stock without having to go and count them all out.
How this would work: For each package size we allocate the quantity we have in stock, e.g. 4” x4” x16” we have a 100 boxes
When a order is fulfilled, the package size used ( 4” x 4” x 16”) will then decrease the stock by 1. Leaving then 99 boxes in stock. Once a minimum threshold is met e.g. 20. A warning will appear to purchase more packages or boxes of that specific size.
