Why does the POST Product require all the unnecessary data columns, but missing one of the MOST important data fields?

Dont you just love how responsive they are? UPC?? You pc! I just want to add a product via api. I'm pretty sure I'll get no response.

Can this please be added ASAP? Pretty simple to add this field to the API and is really a burden on us to not have
To ShipStation: Are there any plans to add UPC to the API?
To Community: How are you managing your UPCs in shipstation? are you just doing a bulk import every week?
So after waiting 4 years for impolementation of BASIC API Functionality, we'll be required to pay $75 to use it??
