Remove shipment after "CancelIndicium called on an old transaction" error

If you get this error "CancelIndicium called on an old transaction" on a shipment there is no way for the user to delete the shipment. Customer service says they do not a method currently to circumvent that issue in order to remove the shipment record. Please fix!!!!

CancelIndicium called on an old transaction.

I got the same thing, anyway there is a solution now on how to void the label and get a refund?

This is the most arbitrary, absurd issue and it needs to be fixed. 


No one from ShipStation has responded. Any reason for that? It is still an ongoing issue.

facing them same issue.  this needs dev fixing.  anyone has been able to void the label successfully?

No. but I never got that issue again. So I assumed it was fixed by now.

I have that issue now.  The label cannot be voided for some reason.  ShipStation has no answer for me.

Thank you for your post in the community! After checking with our support team, they confirmed that this error comes directly from USPS and indicates that the label was voided after 28 days, making it ineligible for cancellation.

 

To resolve this, you will need to contact Stamps.com directly. You can reach them by phone at 1-855-889-7867 or via email at Support@Stamps.com.
