It would be great if there could be a feature where you can scan the barcode on a packing slip, and bring up the gift message to print on a small label. We have so many gift messages (especially at Christmas) and it takes ages to search for them manually!

I may not understand what you mean but I think you can display [Gift Message] as a barcode. It may get ugly if the message is long though. This may not be what you meant though.
