Hi! does anyone know if this ever got added? know i'm a few years down the line from the original post. It would be disappointing if ship station still hasn't added such a helpful feature.

Scan to verify and Scan to verify/print should be on the mobile app too.....everyone has a mobile. Having computers and scanners lying around warehouses is not cost effective and is just a waste when a mobile phone could do it simply. Please add asap as I can see this was suggested 4 years ago!!

Small or Big warehouse this would be helpful to scan throughout the warehouse on a mobile scanner.

I found this thread "finally" after NO information elsewhere stating that this is still not an option as of today and yet this has been talked about for years. Scan to verify by SHIPSTATION seems to be used for just that, to "verify" that the picker picked correctly. 

So there is no "picking" with a mobile scanner is how I understand this.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

This really should be added to the mobile feature. This would probably greatly boost your mobile app. To be able to walk with a mobile scanner as you pick the order would be a great improvement. I agree this seems to be brought up often and yet still not an option.

Also, Android app compatibility with android based barcode scanners. Currently, it only works with mobile phones, its incompatible with most barcode scanners even if they’re running full android. Which is silly because my barcode scanner works with every other app I use.

@CaraAdmin I am currently on the free trial, just wanted to test out shipstation compared to a competitor. If this feature is added to android scanners I will make the permanent switch. This is exactly what me and my team need.

The ability to use my scanner to verify the correct product is packaged and is associated to the correct label will be HUGE for my business.


This feature would be AMAZING to have.  It would be the final piece to having a fully usable inventory management.  

Is this available for 3PL clients?  I am Curious how larger warehouses would use the desktop app to scan to verify?
