Basically, anything that you need automated in SS can be done with integromat.

Thanks Nate. Integromat is a paid service, I'm not sure we'd want to go that route for this issue. Could you provide insight on how you would use AfterShip to resolve this?

As other's have stated, shocked this is not already available. We should be able to ustlize a setting notifying recipients of any delay or exception form the carrier. This would eliminate the headache of customer's emailing in and us having to manually check.

I will go a step further and say it should be a seperate notification where the recipient can be added as well as the shipper and not rolled into one ofthe existing two notification that are in place i.e. delivery notifiation. As the shipper may only want to be notified of the delay and not receive a notifiation of every delivery. That is a real pain when doing larger volumes. Hopefully this doesn't fall on deaf ears!

If Shipstation would simply transmit the email address to the carrier (ups, fedex, purolator, etc) when creating the label, then one could “turn on” notifications from the carrier.

These would include delivery exceptions, delays, held for pickup at depot, about to be returned to sender, etc.

This thread is only 8 years old so I’m sure it’s under consideration.
