Please make it possible to automatically sync inventory count from BigCommerce to ShipStation. This would keep inventory current instead of requiring us to manually increase the stock count when additional stock is purchased or a customer returns an item. As it stands, the only thing ShipStation does is reduce inventory from a stock amount that is manually put into ShipStation.

This would be extremely helpful for our brand and hoping this has a timeline of getting done soon seeing as we are hoping to use shipstation but wouldn't be able to without this feature.

Agree on the inventory management. It would be nice to see Shopify leverage inventory management by Shipstation. I have one warehouse that managed inventory for 3 brands (stores). If I use shopify I have to created duplicate locations for each shopify store in shipstation. I would like to be able to connect SS to shopify and leverage a one or two warehouse/inventory features for all my shopify stores.

PLEASE ADD an Inventory system that can manage inventory in selling channels

I would like to be able to import into Ship Station our inventory quantity from outside Inventory Management Systems. This would enable us to know from SS if an item is low quantity/out of stock, or if we need to restock the item from our own shelves.

This would be amazing!

Shipping easy currently does this and adds a module price to your subscription every month. We would love to see ship station do something like this as well1

This would be great. Shipstation's current inventory system is missing this major feature. We need to be able to sync the inventory shown in Shipstation with all of our marketplaces. Many of your competitors already allow this.

THIS WOULD BE AN AMAZING FEATURE TO SS BE A COMPLETE SOFTWARE.

How many votes does a feature need before it is implemented?

I would love to have this functionality! It's such a pain making sure that I manually update inventory counts in multiple sales channels so that I don't sell inventory that we are actually stocked out of.

I think a good idea would be automatic inventory update to multiple selling channels when selling so you don’t over sell. Meaning if I sell 3 items on eBay it will automatically deduct that on all selling channels so that all selling channels have updated and same qtys at all times.

Totally agree with you on this. Would love it if ShipStation's developer team would make it so that the inventory on ShipStation communicates back to multiple selling channels.

We are paying extra for a different inventory solution that is a pain to update outside of shipstation. Just because Shipstation's existing solution failed us twice. It just didn't keep track of our inventory and we kept losing our count, and inventory would not be accurate after a week or so. I would GLADLY pay more for a more robust inventory solution, built into shipstation that also integrates with our selling channels, like WooCommerce and Faire.com.

Yes, please! We sell on Amazon, Shopify, and eBay channels, and manage inventory in Shopify. When we ship orders from Amazon and eBay, we really need ShipStation to update the inventory stock in Shopify. Right now we have to do it manually, weekly, which is error-prone and arduous.

We have the exact same issue. We need inventory synchronization for products and bundle. With the possibility to manage parent SKUs, especially around Amazon. Shipstation integrates already with a lot of channels and the efforts to do inventory managment could be there easily. We'll gladly pay extra for such needed feature.

Adding: Squarespace and Etsy to the list, as I too would gladly pay for that feature. Also adding another vote for: Magento. Ultimately it seems allowing the following platforms: Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce, CS-Cart, and Squarespace ... to sync with the core selling platforms of: eBay, Amazon, and Etsy ... should meet most customer's needs. Programmatically that would doing the coding for: eBay, Amazon, Etsy (and Facebook, if you'll add that, since although it wasn't mentioned it is a core marketplace and would address many users selling through Facebook directly or on Instagram as IG uses Facebook Marketplace's data). Then making that base code work with each website software by order of popularity. I imagine it's possible to optimize that coding workflow even more by structuring the base code / scripts logic accordingly. Should be fairly simple, albeit time consuming.

Shipstation automatically update (API Update) the quantity to other registered market place if item sell We are selling our products in Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Magento, Walmart etc. All orders are received via Shipstation. As soon as received the order in shipstation, and shipstation must call the update quantity API and reduce the quantity automatically in every other market place. For example, SKU 12345 sold 2 quantity in eBay marketplace, in this case shipstation automatically update (subtract) 2 quantity SKU 12345 for all other integrated market place such as Amazon, Etsy, Magento, Walmart etc immediately using the SKU 12345. This will avoid oversold in the other market place. I am also experience IT architect and if need more details please feel to let me know.

Dittto!!!!! I need Shipstation to handle inventory management for two shops. Etsy and Shopify. Does anyone know of a system that will do this well with Etsy? Shipstation has not been a problem with my present inventory system but they do not work well with Etsy.

Bringing this current to 2024/2025 it would be nice to have shipstation be a multichannel inventory manager like ecomdash and now veeqo. We like shipstation but are thinking of switching to Veeqo because it is cheaper and does it all.
