This would benefit the BUNDLE need...especially for all using QuickBooks on Line.

YES YES YES please. 100s of hours wasted trying to find this solution which should be simple to integrate here! Hello. I'm still really struggling with an effective and clean import of component product I sell on shopify to shipstation so it breaks into it's components. Is there still not a cleaner way to have a sku for bundle product come to shipstation, and have it properly broken into say 2 component sku's that make up the product so there are line items for each and proper shipping can be done and proper inventory tracking of the components? I'm trying to use so many different bundle apps and build in line items so zapier can read it and send and it's a HUGE trouble just to keep a clean looking single photo bundle item on the front of shopify store, and have the components (with height variant for example) properly sent to shipstation. I hope there is another solution now?

Very much needed! We have multiple items that are sold individually and in bundles. This is the only feature that is preventing us from signing up and processing Order with ShipStation How is this not a feature that is standard? It is a pretty basic tool needed in this industry.

This is the one feature that is getting us really close to moving on from shipstation to another solution. How is it not a feature yet? It should be soo easy to split a bundle SKU into multiple child SKUs. PLEASE ADD THIS ASAP.

Please add "Bundle product" function in Shipstation inventory management like Magento, where a bundle product SKU breaks down into individual product SKUs, currently the Shipstation inventory system can not break down and pull individual SKUs for bundle products.

From what I can tell, this subject and several of the others under the "bundling" and "kitting" categories are all asking for the same thing. I would have put my votes here, but I noticed that the suggestion titled "give us a way to create a "bill of goods" for SKU's that are kits" is asking for the exact same thing. Hopefully more votes gets more attention.

'+1 for Bundle, BOM, Bill of Goods Support :-)

I would like to see the possibility of bundled product. Right now, if we create a bundle of items under one SKU, we have to look at another list to see what is in that particular bundle. As the individual items within the bundle do not show up on the pick list; it becomes more time consuming to pick our orders and creates more opportunity for error because we can't check off our pick list for each item that we are picking. We sell these items as individual units, but if our customers order a bundle, they receive a discount. The following is an example of what I would like to see: Sample Kit #1 7000XXXXXXXX Sku1 Sku2 Sku3 Sku4 Sku5 Sku6 All sold under the mother sku and showing up on the pick list. This would really streamline our picking process and eliminated time spent looking at various lists to determine what is contained within a particular bundle.

Any update as to whether this will be added? It's been several years since the idea was proposed.

This would be a great value-add for my business as well. I sell a product that comes as a kit of configurable options, and it would be a lot more convenient to have the individual items broken out on the packing list, rather than having to manually account for the bits and pieces.

This is a great idea and very needed. The pick list and the packing slip would include everything needed to ship the order.

At this time, we have pre-made "kits" but our fulfillment center can only see the Parent SKU. It would be great if this can be broken down to the Bill of Material level and each item is exposed for the pick/pack process, and decrement inventory accordingly. This would greatly help new associates being on-boarded and reduce the number of mispicks from happening.

'+1 This is a really important feature and a great use of developer's time - huge value created, with a fairly simple implementation.

ShipStation does not support/have functionality for at this time. All product/SKU data will be 1:1 in terms of how it's presented to ShipStation as well for the native inventory solution. We have ShipStation linked to our website that we place our orders in and a few select items are a group, but have separate SKUs that need to be pulled from ShipStation inventory. Having to manual do this with so many items, it causes more incorrect inputs and more difficulty for our customers to be able to order what they are wanting properly. I could see this helping multiple businesses, and a great way to help insure less mistakes for businesses.

hurry up with this!!!! we need to have bundle inventory management working in SS. I have many "systems" / "kits" that are made up of SKUS that I need to track. the only work around at this moment is to prebuild these kits so I can store inventory that way... huge pain in the &%$#

  • August 6, 2019
You have my votes. We will move away from ship station by EOY if this is not implemented. How does SS offer inventory management, but then if we have a basic multi-pack? It basically renders the inventory management functionality useless for our needs, and create a ton of work outside of the system to ensure multi-packs are picked and consumed from inventory correctly.

  • August 9, 2019
PLEASE add this feature! Bundled sets help us sell more products, but at the cost of losing our ability to inventory accurately.

  • August 12, 2019
How has this been 7 years and still no progress? Packs/bundles are so common in retail, this should have been a built-in feature from the start. We've almost 10,000 products and at least a third of those have sub-SKUs which are composed of kits/packs/bundles. It's tedious having to manually account for those on each order, day in and day out. There's also another feedback suggestion which is same concept with 200+ votes. That should be merged with this, which easily makes it the #2 most requested ShipStation feature.

(ie) [SKU: Buy 1 Get 1], [QTY: 2] As a single line item. This could be massively helpful in instance of preparing for the needed additional inventory as well as counting the proper numbers coming out of inventory.

  • September 4, 2019
Yes please! We need to split incoming orders that have a single SKU but represent a multipack, this will help us with inventory management in a big way.

  • September 13, 2019
This says "Planned"...but hasn't moved since 2017 and the idea was originally suggested over 7 years ago in 2012. When is this supposed to launch?

  • September 24, 2019
This would be game-changing. We can't use ShipStation for inventory right now, because all of our products are built out into various pack sizes from the master. We can't use Shipstation because we don't pre-build our packs. If we would be able to bundle and track master cases into the kitted packs, we could get rid of an entire system and streamline for our clients

A relatively simple solution for your developers to implement that I imagine might work relatively well for people is to allow people to configure their kits inside of ShipStation so that they only really affect the pick ticket. Everywhere else, inside and upstream of ShipStation, kit items would look like a single product. Our work around: We use GroovePacker integrated with Shipstation. GroovePacker support this functionality and it allows us to work around this missing feature relatively well, but it would still be nice for us if the pick ticket from ShipStation could also include the sub-items of the kit. https://groovepacker.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000056952-how-to-setup-and-use-kits-or-bundles-in-groovepacker

The ability to map child items for bundled codes could be readily done using metafields. Shopify has many apps that can do this. Sad that SS can't handle.

Sometimes we sell things as a SET. It would be one SKU created for a SET that pulls from 2-3 different other SKUs. Right now there are no Groups, Kits, or Sets settings on ShipStation
