searching for anything in shipments tab defaults a 2 week filter, that limits the search. this is not only unintuitive, its also causes unnecessary inconvenience. if i want to see all results, i need to search then either clear filters or click on a created view without filters. either of them make an unnecessary extra click to see results. any additional clicks i want to make should be to limit the scope of search not open up the results.

ironically the default view is “all”, but on search it is ingenuine.

please default to all. and allow people to filter as they wish, or even a toggle to change the defaults. rather than the opposite

By default, ShipStation hardcodes the standard Shipments tab to a 14-day limit purely for database performance. If the default 'All' tab attempted to load years of historical shipment data every time you clicked it, it could cause massive lag or browser timeouts.

However, you can actually change your default experience right now so you never have to clear that filter again!

How to set a new Default View:

  1. Go to the Shipments tab and clear the date filter

  2. Click Save View

  3. Once that view is saved as a new tab on your screen, hover over its name, click the gear/settings icon, and select 'Make this my default view.'

Now, whenever you navigate to the Shipments tab or perform a search, ShipStation will automatically load your custom, unfiltered view instead of the 14-day default!

I will still pass your feedback along to our UI team, as having a simple toggle in the settings would be much more intuitive. Thanks for sharing!
