Build better products with our product team
When looking in order view with side column, the item titles are cut off because there's not enough space, You cannot expand this sidebar, only turn it on and off. It would be nice to either have it expandable or to offer the option of wordwrap on the item titles so the full title can be seen. We often have long titles where the color and size are at the end -- this makes for very inefficient packing because we have to double check by hovering or clicking. We do use sku as well but its a lot easier to make mistakes there - Merino Wool Base Layer Ski Unders Set: Light Gray - 116cm | 6yrSKU: 5819-130-116For example this currently will only show:Merino Wool Base Layer Ski Unders Set:
I would like for the ability to configure details for multiple packages on an order when creating an order via API. Currently, only one package can be configured when using the order creation end point. My use case is to streamline the integration between our order management system and ShipStation. Currently, we use scanners to package all of the items on an order and configure the weight and dimensions of packages in the order management system. To reduce redundancy, I would like to automatically send package details along with the order, greatly reducing the amount of time we spend configuring labels for shipments. Currently, if there is more than one package, this would not be possible.
DPDLocal have an input field for Delivery Information. This is so the customer can add details like a pin code for the front gate, specific instruction for a difficult to locate address etc. Royal Mail have a similar field that is used for 'Safeplace' As it's there on DPDLocal's own website, it would also be extremely useful as a field in Shipstation to pass to them. Often we have customers that have multiple team members involved that need to receive the auto email that their shipment was created. As of right now its only possible to add a single email address Suggested SolutionAdding ability to create a comma separated email address input. No design change, rather it considers both emails to send out
We would love for the address validation step that ShipStation does on the backend to be a part of the checkout process on our Shopify store, so that clients can make sure their address is correct before the automatic update. Or, it would be great if Shipstation could support a Third Party app to do this.
Would like to be able to Delete unused inactive stores. Thanks
The "old" version ss4 shows the awaiting shipment number change in real time as users process shipments, but the "new" version ship4 requires the reload link to be clicked to update.
Need an update to support Accumatica Version 2021 R2. As improvements are made by partners, Shipstation should update to support.
We use to scan order using the barcode on the packing slip and it use to pull up the order directly, now on V3 we need to go to the scan section in order to do that ? can this process be the same in V2 it's much easier when you have so many orders to fulfill.
Currently the default view of Orders is 100. It would be nice if you could change the "Default" view to be more than that. I know you can select to view 500 at a time but it has to be manually selected.
I want to delay shipment notification to my customers until their package hits the USPS mail stream. The documentation at https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/206638577#auto says that if I use a supported carrier, "you'll be able to set up Delayed Shipment Notifications based on when the shipment first hits the mailstream". Customer support, however, says that this doesn't work unless marketplace notification is also happening. I don't see why one has anything to do with the other - my carrier is USPS/stamps.com and SS is talking to it. My marketplace is Paypal and I don't really care if it's updated or not.
Seems like this should be a basic function
Some carriers do not appear to have a standard method of updating the delivery status of a shipment. Case in point, Canpar in Canada. The delivered status of this shipment did not update the status correctly in ShippSatation: https://www.canpar.com/en/tracking/track.htm?barcode=D433004940000000007001 Having the ability to manually mark a shipment 'Delivered' would resolve this.
It would be great if we could rename an order and/or rename an order coming off an order split.
I would like a portal where customers can enter their order number and look up their own tracking number or order status. We already send out email notifications with tracking numbers but customers still call all the time and ask where their packages are. I need a portal that can allow customers to look up the answers themselves.
Please could you work on making Shipstation compatible with v28 of Sage 50.
Current daily and monthly legal and financial limits on debit and credit cards impacts us negatively during high volume periods, and Stamps.com has an ACH funding capability that could likely be integrated into ShipStation somehow.
Please connect dicom and Canpar for Canadian customers!
Could we get royal mail tracking within shipstation? As far as I am aware there is a RM tracking API which allows pulling this information without going to the RM tracking page. Royal mail also offers delivery tracking for the 24 and 48 service which does not require signature. It would be great to have tracking information for these parcels too or at least the parcel number populated in the tracking field. Currently we have to take this from the label manually.
Most of the time we use android tablets to print our labels, but to do so it takes what feels like a couple of minutes to print one label as you have to select 4 different things and throws us off our workflow. What would make our life a lot easier would be to select the weight, service and package and then print with a default printer. At the moment we select weight, service, package, then create label, then buy shipping, then select shipstation connect and then the print which buffers inbetween each part!
Can you please integrate with shipglobal.us? As per them it should be ready soon but didnt gave us timeline. Can you please complete that integration ASAP , It would be really helpful. Thanks
To maximize flexibility, especially with the API, I'd like to be able to create custom attributes for our products stored in ShipStation, maybe with some basic choices for value types like number, currency, text, or multiple choice. In our custom web store, we include information on whether a product is outgoing, on clearance, or what the price is (not just declared value). Because there aren't fields for these, we're running and updating a separate online database that runs in conjunction with this one. It would be much more efficient if all of that information could just be included in ShipStation.
When generating a report I cannot get an accurate total order quantity/SKU if there are orders with multiple items ordered. If you look at Column I of the spreadsheet from the Insights, I see some of the orders say Multiple. These orders have the missing numbers that would add up to the sales report generated my Amazon. This is the way I generate the report is as follows0: Insights > Reports > Products > Product Sales (or Item Demand Summary)It would be much appreciated if we could see how many orders of each SKU have been sold on each platform so we can see what our best sellers are and where we need to focus on.Thanks in advance for making this small tweak to make the report infinitely more valuable and useful.
1. It would be great to be able to Rename the field names on export to whatever the import template would need on other systems . 2. I would be helpful to be able to use a field more than once on a export, for example order_number as a order number field and a reference number field. 3. I would love to be able to send a link to the image of a shipping label generated by shipstation to my warehouse in this export.
The Export Shipments process could be streamlined by using a Save dialog allowing the user to change filename and save location. Currently, exports go to Downloads and use a preset filename. Users must then manually move and rename the file -- extra work. Most applications that export data to text files use a Save dialog. Even better: A default export filename could be set in a saved Format.
