Integrate local couriers like Postmate and UberRush. We use these on occasion but not enough to justify our own integration Having within ShipStation would add alot of value for us though.
Left batch menu, can we suggest allowing to create "batch folders" to better allow us to separate batches by batch directories/folders? and allow moving batch up/down, if not enable dragging to sort within the frame? (sorting within by filter would be great on top as well! (by count, by oldest/newest etc).
I would like to connect a simple external display 'counter' that shows the number of orders awaiting shipment. I guess there must already be a workaround that someone cleaver than me has figured out.
Hi! I use the scan feature to print shipping labels, but the rate calculator doesn't automatically pull in the order information like it does if it was in the orders window. When in the orders window, the calculator icon will appear next to the "Ship From" section. In the Scan window, there isn't one. Is this a feature that already exists or something I need to do to get it? Adding photo for reference.
We need to include shipping insurance on all of our orders. The cost of ParcelGuard is dependent on the value of the product and total cost of the order. We need customers to pay for insurance at checkout in Shopify.
With the new Reship feature (which is great) there needs to be a way to quickly filter our Reshipped shipments in the Shipments dashboard, like there is for Returns, in the Advanced Search bar. Before we used to track these by filtering shipments within a date range by quantity. All the orders that had 0 QTY were reships, because you used to not be able to add items to reshipment, prior to the newest feature. No that visibility is lost. We fulfill orders for other clients, and we do not charge them fulfillment fees for orders that are reshipped due to fulfillment errors. Now I'm having to scroll through thousands of orders each week and manually tally up the orders I see with "(2 of 2)" next to it. Frustrating.
Hi Shipstation, We currently have two BluePark sites, Amazon, eBay and OnBuy marketplaces... It made me so happy to see the inventory sync being finally added, but so disappointed to see that it had not been developed for Bluepark! We currently use OnePatch to sync stock levels but find it a very slow program to work with, and would like to cut out this middle step. Would be great if you could consider adding Bluepark to the Inventory sync! Also adding Purchase Order and Suppliers section would be a bonus, although we can move this to Bluepark. If this development is on the card soon, please let me know. If not, I think we have to start looking at different setup with perhaps Linnworks, but we much prefer the ShipStation layout for processing orders. Regards - Christine, Naysmith Ltd
We have negotiated rates but do not want to display those rates to customers. I'd like to see a spot for a markup at the store and/or carrier level, either as a flat "handling fee" or as a percentage of the shipping charge. The reports would be able to include both "true charge" and "marked up charge". (In our case, we have no client-facing stores, and only want this feature for running reports at the backend, but I could see where other users might like it in that situation.)
We have 3 different UPS accounts, each with specific services discounted.For example:UPS Account 1 has discounted rates for UPS Ground.UPS Account 2 has discounted rates for UPS 2nd Day Air.UPS Account 3 has discounted rates for International.In Shipstation, it does not allow us to enable/disable services for each account; if you change 1 of the UPS accounts, all 3 change. This is a problem. Our shipping department is then offered 3 different options for UPS Ground for example, with only 1 of them at the discounted rate.UPS says this is how they needed to set us up, and Shipstation support claims there is no possible way to set each account to offer only specific services, they all have to be the same for some reason. So instead of 10 different services to sort through, our shipping department has 30, with only 10 being the optimal choice, spread out in different accounts.We can't be the only users with this issue? Why would 3 different account numbers be synced in the back end? Doesn't make sense.
It would be very helpful feature to be able to proactively and automatically reach out to the customer right after the first attempted delivery by the carrier. Quite often customers don't understand that they can redirect the shipment or mark it as 'hold at the location' and these shipments are being returned to sender. Shipstation already monitors for delivery exceptions so I the software could intercept the first "delivery attempt" event for each carrier and then automatically send the templated message to the customer with let's say all the instructions how to properly receive it, that would be of a great help to us, senders. There's already a section in the store configuration about sending email templates that could be upgraded for that option. Another approach would be to build it around the automation rules maybe so more conditions and actions could be configured by the user. This will require though for the automation rules not to only monitor new orders, but also all the shipments tracking information changes (until they get delivered). Another places where it could be implemented is with Zapier or Webhook integrations. Basically checking for the first failed delivery attempt to trigger the proper integration. There's a big potential there.
Just as the title suggests, it would be great to be able to have the pick list get the products location based on the location in inventory, not by the warehouse location field. That field has to be manually updated. A products inventory location is constantly changing, or same products in split locations, manually updating that field just to generate a pick list is very cumbersome. It would also be great if it gets the location that has the least amount of inventory first.
Hot take: Soon, the only way a Shipstation user will know if there are buyer-initiated order cancellations is to randomly sign on to Amazon before we process orders in Shipstation and see if there are any, in order to catch them before accidentally processing them as a shipment. (WHAAATTT???) We need to have Amazon Orders that have a buyer-initiated cancellation bring that information into Shipstation SOMEHOW. For example, Shipstation already recognizes different order statuses from marketplaces such as "Awaiting Payment" and "Cancelled" and separates those orders from "Awaiting Shipment." Why can't Shipstation create a new order status called: "Pending Buyer Cancellation?" I am not asking for the ability to actually cancel marketplace orders in Shipstation...At the very least, we NEED ORDERS THAT HAVE A BUYER -INITATED CANCELLATION STATUS WITHIN AMAZON TO STAY OUT OF THE "AWAITING SHIPMENT" status ON SHIPSTATION. Because we manage orders exclusively through the Shipstation API, (AND NOT SELLER CENTRAL) Amazon suggests the following:QUOTE"Changes to the buyer-initiated order cancelation requests for sellers who use APIs: You can now view buyer cancelation requests through your own systems by using the “List Order Items API”. We are adding 2 fields on the API response which developers will be able to import and surface on their systems. Once you import the buyer cancelation requests, you can continue to cancel orders with whichever process you currently use, either through API feeds, on Seller Central or with a file upload. I am disappointed to say the least in my recent correspondence with Shipstation and an complete lack of empathy towards the major inconvenience this will be for Amazon sellers, especially those of us managing multiple Amazon marketplaces in Shipstation. We PAY for Shipstation every month to AVOID having to use Seller Central. If we now must use Seller Central every day, multiple times a day, we might as well CANCEL our Shipstation subscription and process Amazon orders within Seller Central. (The shipping discounts are getting better than Stamps.com in some cases, FYI) Thank you for taking another look at this problem and giving it thoughtful consideration.
Hello,We're in Canada and shipping costs can vary wildly depending on whether we are shipping to a large city VS a more rural area. Due to a postal strike in our country, we're using UPS as our carrier, which means that shipping costs skyrocket if we are delivering to certain remote regions.Basically we're trying to figure out which cities/towns of our previous shipped orders had the worst shipping costs.What we'd like is to have a report that shows shipping costs in a column and destination city in another column.Two ideas on how to implement this:1) Add a "destination city" column to the "Shipping Cost" report (under Insights -> Reports -> Shipments)2) Add a "shipping costs" column to "Order Detail" report (under Insights -> Reports -> Orders)I'd say Idea #1 is probably better because each order is represented on 1 row each, so it's more straightforward.

We would love to be able to connect our live rates to our ecommerce platform MIVA to provide our customers with the most accurate rates and avoid over or under charging.
I would like to be able to generate reports that are based on my local time zone, at the moment it appears to be forced to UTC that is just displayed in my local time.For example I just generated a report for December 8th, and the report (in MST time) is from Dec 7th 4:00 PM to Dec 8 4:00 PM.This makes it difficult to compare with other reports, and/or causes manual work when I need to pull reports for an extra day and remove the excess lines from the Excel sheet.
We'd like to be able to scan outgoing products and associate them to their orders as they are being shipped out.
Different users that are in different offices/warehouse with different printers (thermal or laser) and print different size labels (4x6 and 8.5x11) should have the ability to have their own label/printer settings saved to their account instead of the need to switch setting every time globally.
Is there a way to narrow down the list of carriers when you go to mark an order as shipped, manually? It's loaded with really obscure carriers and doesn't include some that should be there, surprisingly.
I wanted to suggest a feature that could enhance our branding: the ability to use different logos for shipping labels and email templates. Currently, I have to use a specialized logo for our thermal printer that ensures clean printing, but this logo doesn't match our standard colors and design for emails.If we could upload two images in the store configuration—one for labels and one for email templates—it would allow us to maintain a consistent and professional brand image across all customer touchpoints.This issue mainly affects those using thermal printers; non-thermal options like inkjet or laser printers don’t face the same limitations.Thank you for considering this improvement!
There should be an option to set the "Document Options" at a more specific level other than account-wide. We have two different types of orders we process and the one requires 4"x6" labels with 8.5"x11" packing slips, while the other requires an 8.5"x11" packing slip that has the shipping label at the top of it on the same sheet. There is currently no way to do this except to change the label Document Option each time we need to bounce from one to the other. This affects all users as is it account-wide and is causing major issues. I found a similar request going back to 2015 and nothing has been done about this.
Why does the POST Product require all the unnecessary data columns, but missing one of the MOST important data fields? It's been 2 years, PLEASE ADD UPC for Product API
We connect to ShipStation for our live ecommerce shipping support. We also have a development instance of ShipStation that we use for testing new features, etc. It is very difficult to keep up with out ecommerce team as they make changes in the live (production) environment of ShipStation, all the time. As a result, we are often testing features and our testers don't know what changes have been made in ShipStation. It would be great for us to be able to have a way of migrating the settings from our Production Instance of ShipStation to our TESTING Instance of ShipStation.
I see that if the customer put in an apartment number on the same line as the street address, Shipstation flags it as invalid or missing apartment number. I have been having to copy and paste the apartment number on to the next line and then this flag goes away.Also I see SS classifying some addresses as commercial or residential randomly. It does not seem to make any sense.
I use a number of batches to run my day. I use them to sort the orders and keep those that are waiting on stock separate from those that can be shipped. What I have found is when I create a new batch the new batch shoots to the top of the list of batches and I am not able to rearrange or sort the batches in any way. I'd like to be able to keep the batches in a particular order with the most commonly used batches at the top. It would be wonderful if this was a feature within ShipStation. Whether it is simply sorting alphabetically or custom drag-and-drop sorting. Thank you for considering adding this to a future ShipStation upgrade.
