Build better products with our product team
Our company just switch to the new shipstation layout. We did not want to switch because we ship with the USPS a lot and need to split single product orders all the time. With the old layout we would just look for the split button option and split the order as many times as we needed. Now it is not possible. You either have to have an order with several items on the order or ship with either FedEx, UPS or DHL.We take advantage of the USPS Priority Mail Flat rates and sometimes split orders in two or tree shipments. We ship very heavy items that if shipped via FedEx, it would too expensive. We need to be able to copy the order identical or split it with just a button. The new system does not work. We now need to make a new manual order or print the USPS label on the order and come back to the same order and print another label. That is time consuming. Please bring the split order button back. Would like so see a mechanism to allow scheduled sending of some reports. i.e. - I want a daily email with a csv of the inventory status for one of my warehouses.
For example we have 3 business running and they don't have an option to export the orders (it's not amazon/ebay). So we use 3 manual stores and sometimes we have errors, an order that is shipped from 1 manual stores, actually needed to be shipped from other. Having an option to transfer order would be great. Thanks
Hello, we need a way to, when splitting an order, be able to split the tax and freight as well. When more than one item is on an order, if we need to split them we need to be able to provide a packing slip that has the accurate tax amount for that item. It is currently lumping any freight and tax on one shipment. There are several improvements that need to be made for splitting orders. Ability to apply a new order number, ability to cancel one of the orders, (in cases where we are splitting because one item is unavailable, and in cases where a customer cancels only part of their order). I'm not sure why these things slipped through the cracks.
I am a one woman show. I do everything from making my product to shipping it! Why why why can I not have the pick list of each shipment integrated onto each shipping label??? Why is this separated? Please help me in voting this in as a new feature!!!!we small business owners put up with enough crap. We shouldn’t need to deal with this too.
I would like to have a feature that would automatically print a packing slip/list when the label is printed for ONLY orders that are tagged or otherwise identified as requiring a packing slip with their shipment. Furthermore, printing the packing slip/list template assigned to the recipient company would be important since some of our customers have different needs when it comes to their packing slips. We do not include packing slips/lists in most of our shipments. The customer receives their packing slip via the email that is sent from SS. However, we do have a handful of customers that do require a packing slip to be include with their shipments. I currently have tags assigned to these customer and I am using the alerts to remind users to print and include the packing slip. An automated function would reduce user error in this capacity. Thank you
It would be nice if we could run automation rules against a particular order(s) instead of All in certain situations.
I would be nice to be able to print packing list with label for some stores and then separately for others automatically without having to toggle back and forth and potentially wasting supplies. often a different workflow with that granularity is necessary and certainly a nice option.
We are new to ShipStation, so it's possible this is user error, but it seems like when we refresh the stores, and we get a message to "Update Grid", the pop up and "Update Grid" link disappear too quickly. It would be great if that window would stick around until X'd out or something along those lines, and I feel that would be a pretty simple change to make for your programmers.
Is there a way to allow me to go to the store details page once it is connected? Like right away? Right now, when I connect a store it goes straight to the store selling channels page, in stead of taking me where I can rename the store/edit the store details. It used to take me straight to the store info page, instead of my selling channels page. Now, in order to change anything about the store, I have to click it individually, hit edit store, and then get to where I need to be.
Currently it requires an admin to edit Carrier options. We do not normally allow overnight shipping and because of the extreme difference in price from ground to over-night air we typically have the option turned off so none of our shippers can accidently use it. There are occasions when we get a customer call and they are willing to pay for the overnight shipping, however, the only users that can make this change to the services of a carrier are admin users. Which means that I have to allow users a lot more access than I would like just so they can flip that switch in the carrier options. Notes:These are carriers that are already set up, you're just changing allowed services of that carrier.
Please provide integration for one or more last mile delivery applications like Circuit. Our company has our own drivers making local deliveries and we want to use a last mile delivery application to manage those shipments.
I get a lot of orders that are net 30 days pay - so when they appear in Shipstation I have to mark them '0' paid to be able to ship. The automation rules only apply to paid orders. So I have to reprocess the automation rules. Two possible changesOne allow automation rules to be applied to unpaid ordersTwo add a tab on the main menu to reprocess the automation rules
Yesterday, we had an error where no orders were being pushed through from Brightpearl to ShipStation. This caused our business to run behind and will require overtime work to catch up. If there was a feature to alert us when this occurred via email, we could have tried to resolve it earlier!
Hello, My team and I want to increase our efficiency. The best way to increase our shipping efficiency is to have an automatically populated carrier selected based on the cheapest shipping price. Currently, there are no automation rules that allow this to occur. Can this be an added feature to the automation rule? Thank you, this will be extremely beneficial for our shipping efficiencies.
With Australia Post now accomodating traditional place names it would be great to be able to include a field on shipping labels for these in both the To/From section to support broader diversity and inclusion initiatives. Woocommerce is my only selling channel. My warehouse uses "Warehouse Location" on the pick list the fulfill orders. When new products are created in ShipStation through the order process on my site, it would be great if we could map a field from Woo directly to the Warehouse Location in ShipStation so we didn't have manually update it each time a new product is created.
to select a future shipdate is missing from the sidebar of the new shipstation version.Need to bring this back please
As I understand it the information available in the ShipStation API does not distinguish between single-box and multi-box shipments. We need visibility in the API as to (1) how many boxes are in a shipment, (2) what products are in what box, and (3) the tracking number of each box. This information is essential for generating an EDI 856 (advance ship notice) document.
Anyone know if there is a way that ship station can show delivery status for orders pulled over from Amazon? I am told they can't pull this via the API. Anyone else want this feature? ThanksJeff
Is it possible to add the option for date in the group by drop down box. In order to efficiently pick our product we would like to group by sku and date before printing our packing slips. This will allow us to prioritize the oldest orders first.
Current order is as follows:1 yellow ball1 ball set (which consists of 1 red, 1 white and 1 blue ball) The system currently counts the above order as 2 items which would would be shipped in a specific size box for 1-3 items. In reality, the above order is 4 items which would require a different size box. Each day we spend at least 3 hours manually adjusting 100's of these orders. I need a calculation that can look at each sku of an order and determine how many total items are part of that order.
Ability to have UPC imported with products as part of the default connection settings. We use the ShipStation Scan feature to verify products as we ship, but this is a pain to constantly be manually importing products with UPC information. ShipStation imports also fail anytime we try to import larger files. We have 45k products in there now and have to import at 1k at a time to there aren't failures! We need a fix for this.
on a weekly basis, I pull data on all of the orders that have been shipped from our warehouse. It can become a hassle searching through every single order since the only orders I need are "Made to order" purchases (rather than in stock purchases)The only way I can think to be able to find this is by filtering out by 'dollar amount' or 'value.'All of our "Made to order" products cost over $99- so if there were a filter for me to track all of the orders that have been shipped out that are over that dollar amount, it would be incredibly helpful. This option is available when you are in the "orders" tab in Shipstation, just not the "shipments" tab. I would really appreciate if someone could look into this further and see if this filter can be added! Thank you!
Hi! Amazon just released a new "feature". Using their machine learning capabilities, they'll now flag some orders as High-Risk and suggest us, the shippers, to enforce Signature Confirmation. As of today, the only way to find out about an order being flagged is by manually going to Seller Central and review each order. Not ideal. Ideally, Shipstation should be able to get that info every time it updates it's Amazon connection and let us know. Maybe having it available to fill a custom field so we can automate a Signature Confirmation setting flow. Thank you.
