Build better products with our product team
Need a reliable way to know about updates/changes to integrations without needing to check the blog manually. There isn't even an RSS to subscribe to.Ideally email list or transactional email to users.Hate getting caught with bugs we could have prevented.
To Export Phone numbers even if they put the phone number under billing information instead of shipping information
We have had issues unknowingly clicking on the save button for saving the single order item shipping settings. We have to periodically go back to make sure that no products have had the setting set. One of them accidentally got set as Express shipping which could be very bad. Even a warning "Are you sure you want to save?" Yes/No button would be good here.
I want to be able to export SS generated order barcodes in excel file, it would allow us to use it actually, I don't see any good use for it in packing slip, please add this feature, so that we can export barcodes and in my case stick on t-shirts and put barcoding into good use.
Why would you have all order activity & history delete upon 60 days automatically? This is information that should stay indefinitely with any order that is created. Your agent replied that "If we did not delete history after a certain amount of time, that would be an exceedingly large amount of data to store." which may be true, but its one reason why we are paying for your software & service. Besides cutting-cost on your end financially, there is absolutely no benefit to any users by doing this. Please allow Order Activity to be retained indefinitely on any order. If you were in fact so limited in your data-storage capacities, then why can't you actually delete an order vs. 'cancelling' it upon which its record is retained indefinitely (taking up precious data storage space)???
In printing setup, it would be awesome to have the option to set a printer and printer settings for a gift note, separate from the packing slip. This would allow you to have special gift note cards you can print onto.
SS discovers the address type through verification. But if verification doesnt work (international or brand new domestic location for instance) then Fedex shipping will default to commercial. This causes problems because ISR is not a valid signature option for commercial delivery. Also residential delivery uses the Fedex Home service not Fedex Ground. These services have different rates, schedules, and delivery options. If you create a shipment on fedex.com there is a checkbox there to allow you to declare the address as residential. SS needs the same capability.
Hello, My team and I want to increase our efficiency. The best way to increase our shipping efficiency is to have an automatically populated carrier selected based on the cheapest shipping price. Currently, there are no automation rules that allow this to occur. Can this be an added feature to the automation rule? Thank you, this will be extremely beneficial for our shipping efficiencies.
In BigCommerce, there are 14 total order statuses and Shipstation automatically categorizes them to map to their four order statuses. It would be nice to have additional statuses in Shipstation, in order to better isolate batches.Specifically, a status for orders that are in the "Awaiting Shipment" status, that have not yet had their packing slips printed. The status could be called either "Awaiting Printing" or "Awaiting Shipment".
Mark as shipped only after it's scanned into the system. Need an intermediate status of "Label Printed". We get hundreds of orders each day and have the labels printed immediately. It is not easy to figure out which ones have actually been shipped and which ones just have the label printed.
It would be great if we were able to scan product bin locations directly in ShipStation by scanning the item UPC/Barcode( assuming its already been added to products) and scanning a corresponding bin location bar code. Ideally having this feature added to the app so it can be done using a phone or tablet, would be amazing. The picklist would show the location of the items and it would help us avoid having to integrate another system for us to be batching in.
Easy ship offers this service for customers to see the taxes and duties integrated into their cart of the website. Can you look into this.
I'd like the feature of being able to create an automatic rule to combine orders that match certain criteria. I currently do that manually and it is a headache. My customers are students who for example order 3 products: a certificate, a book and a pin. I only want to send them 2 packages instead of 3 and therefore combine the book and the pin into 1 package. I am currently doing that manually and I have over 500 orders like that per month and I think a feature that will allow me to do that will be so useful.
I couldn't find where to print the manifest when we had our first order. The bot, while usually helpful, gave me the wrong in formation and said to go to the Shipments tab and click on Manifest in the sidebar. This is wrong as the Manifest is under the End of Day tab.
I'm looking for a way to print product labels with a barcode and/or SKU for our customers. This way, when they receive product in their warehouses, they can easily identify what is in each box.
This provides next level integration with Webgility and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.1. Pull payment methods into ShipStation from Big Commerce, Shopify, eBay, etc2. Allow Shipstation to map Payment Methods if needed for further integrations.Currently there is no way to differentiate posting criteria when posting to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.Payment methods is one way Webgility and other automation software can post to QuickBooks using different criteria depending which sales channel was pulled into ShipStation.Thank you
I would find it valuable to be able to use the CSV order import directly into Awaiting Payment instead of Awaiting Shipment. This is necessary when taking future dated orders. Basically, we'd like an option to select Order Status on the import mapping.
Our product mix includes an even split between products that ship small parcel and products that ship via an LTL freight carrier. We need to be able to provide live shipping rates within the BigCommerce checkout experience which is most easily done through an application called ShipperHQ. The challenge is that there is not currently an integration between ShipperHQ and Shipstation that would allow us to offer our Shipstation UPS rates to customers within checkout. This shouldn't be that difficult to do via API. Please consider adding this integration.
I think that its essential that Product info should be synced with WooCommerce vs having to add in items invdividually and have to manually update things here vs. having information float over. Example I just changed what is "perishable" on our site - via a category tag in WooCommerce and also a shipping flag in our system in WooCommerce as well. Instead of that tag floating to park it as perishable in Shipstation, I have to manually update my products in Shipstation instead. A lot of time wasted 😕😕
Option to automatically add needed funds using card on file or selected card when printing/creating a label rather than the label creation failing due to insufficient funds. This option would then work more like having a stamps.com account linked instead of adding additional steps. I don't see a point in having a stamps.com account paying the monthly fee AND having a shipstation account just to have this functionality.
A report that will allow me to see performance by day. How many orders are SHIPPED per day. 2 ColumnsDate - # of orders shipped.
On the individual order page, there is a tiny image showing the product. It would be nice if we didn't need to 'hover over' the image. But instead, a large version of the image could be a permanent box on the right hand side. The operator can glance up and check for accuracy when picking. It would be so much quicker.
Would be nice to have custom cart integration with Cartloom shopping cart as their newest version has some of the best features and the best modern look of any cart.
The old system used to show us quantity when more than 1 in big bold number so we could see it. The current system uses a small dark circle without any attention grabbing, so easily missed and it's now on the left side in the box with the product. So a big triangle in yellow with bold black letters and an exclamation point !! needs to grab us. I suggest IT get on this immediately. When one item is showing it is too easy to think one item sold when in fact the customer wants multiples of the same item.
A few recommendations for reasonable dyslexic accommodations. It would be helpful to have an option to change the font on the pick list to OpenDyslexic to help our dyslexic employees pick items more efficiently. We are currently using the OpenDyslexic google chrome extension but it doesn't look compatible with ShipStation. It would be nice for those to be compatible.
