When we used UPS WorldShip, we printed on a roll of labels that had a 4 x 6 1/4 in label followed by a 4 x 2 label. The larger label went on the package. The smaller label contained some shipment summary info and we would peel it off and stick it onto our paperwork. I would like to have the option to use this label format in ShipStation. 99% of the labels we print are for UPS.
Hello, we now need integration for some of our newer Amazon stores for Sweden, Singapore, etc. Shipstation doesn't have these Amazon countries integrated yet. Has anyone successfully made a custom connection to any of these other Amazon marketplaces? If so, how did you do it?
It would be nice to have Shipstaiton pick the cheapest rate based on weight and region between the available carriers. For us fedex is 80% cheaper than UPS, but sometimes UPS is cheaper for us. In some areas, USPS Priority Mail/Regional Rate is cheaper.I have an order and the difference between Fedex Home Delivery & UPS Ground is $4.
I would like to compare live rates to see which carrier service was used most to display on our store. If possible to see the other rates that were pulled at the time of placing the order before displaying the cheapest option as well to compare the rates. I would like to get a general idea of which carrier tends to have cheaper live rates depending on location and weight. We can only check the carrier that was used to display the live rate to the customer when it's awaiting shipment, but after it's shipped, it's no longer an option to view it. It would be nice to still see that option even after the order has been shipped.
we have 3 shipping carrier connected in shipstation. after we click the rate calculator, it shows the 3 separately and I have to click on each to check which to see the shipping rate the cheapest. Is there any way that all the 3 can show at the same time / in one shot? Thanks
We set up an automation rule to assign a specific order to include "Carrier Insurance" and were expecting it to assign the correct value of shipment amount. Well, sadly 2 shipments were damaged and we have NO coverage 😞 So it seems that yes, it does assign carrier insurance, but doesn't make ANY value... and you cannot make an automation rule to assign orders with that specific item to include a specific value amount... So the automation rule is essentially pointless. Can we please get an automation rule for insured amount or set order amount to value?
We use multiple carriers to fulfill our orders. Sometimes people request a specific carrier, other time we're simply looking for the least expensive rate. It's currently fairly cumbersome to toggle between different rates when we're trying to compare them. It would be nice to see a list to easily compare different ratesService A _____ $__.__Service B _____ $__.__Service C _____ $__.__And being able to choose one, rather than toggling between the different options.
My website uses Opencart and the actual rates the customers are selected are significantly different. I spend a lot of time refunding overages. I know there are other shopping carts that shipstation connects to for rate transfer. Please add it for Opencart. Thank you.
Please consider adding a rate calculator option under the Scan page when scanning to view and scanning to print. This would better assist in the workflow to create labels via the most cost-efficient carrier within the Scan page.
It would be great to see a column where you can see the personalisation from the buyer on each order for personalised gifts. Rather than having to open each order individually via pop up or side bar, but seeing the personalisation on a custom column. Personally think it would be a game changer for businesses who sell made to order products.
We have recently had to add some new stores under Selling Channels to help with segregating orders for distinct warehouse buildings. The Shipping Services on the new stores should match those from an existing store. It is rather tedious to have to rebuild all the Requested Service<->Shipping Service mappings for each new store setup. Is there a way that instead of adding each service mapping one by one, the Shipping Services from one store could be mass-copied to the new store? This would greatly reduce the setup time and the chances for errors during configuration.I asked support about this, and they said it is not currently possible, but that I should come here and suggest it as a feature to add.
ShipStation does not have a feature wherein you can automatically split orders based on specific SKUs or criteria. It would be great if this feature could be added and an automization could be set up to split orders automatically. Currently, ShipStation allows splitting orders manually only.
We would like to add the Canadian carriers under our US account in ShipStation. We have warehouses in USA and Canada, and sometimes it's cheaper to ship the Canadian orders from USA. By having all the carriers into 1 account, we can easily compare the shipping cost and choose the right warehouse and right carrier. Now we have to create separate account and navigate between the accounts to do that and also pay 2 subscriptions.
In Automation Rule setup, please allow automation rule value to be order field values. For example, set Custom Field 1 = [Order #], instead of only allowing string literal of "123 ABC" currently.
I need a list of RMA labels which were never used by my customers. I do free size exchanged and since my product is for babies, it is time sensitive. I ship out the new size asap and trust the customer will do the right thing and ship back the original. I need an easy way of checking this.
add fields that are searchable, like upc, Description, Fulfillment SKU UPC is very important
Cannot split multiple shipments to single shipments with 1 click. Why do I have to spend hours to separate all multiple orders? Technology is so advanced in 2022 that we are planning to go to MARS soon. But not advanced enough to split orders automatically. We will have to hire someone to exclusively split orders every morning. This is ridiculous. It's literally should take no more than 10 seconds by selecting 100s of orders at once and clicking a button that says split orders..
Hi, We ship orders that are below $10 CAD without tracking and in order to not have our VTR penalized on Amazon Canada we are required to put Standard Mail envelopes as the shipping service. However when we use the other action "mark as shipped" there is no way to enter our own shipping service and Shipstation puts a default of Ground as the shipping service. Can you please resolve this? Thanks!
We ship firearms using BigCommerce as our order hub and per law firearms have to ship to a FFL. In our checkout we have a custom checkout field labeled "FFL Name" and "FFL Address" so the customer can input their FFL's information. Would it be possible to allow ShipStation to import custom checkout fields from BigCommerce into ShipStation as custom fields?
It would be a great idea if we had the ability to customize the Order Summary Report template, and rename it just like we can do so with Shipping Templates. For example, the Order Summary Report is condensed and organized vertically and is really a great template to use for a warehouse to pick/pack items quickly. Leaving the standard Order Summary Report is fine whereas it useful as-is for many people/companies. But what I would do is eliminate the pricing, enlarge the font size of the Qty, rename the "Record #" to be "Order #," and increase the font size of the "Order #." I would also add a "Due Date" to let me warehouse know when we expect to size this order and I would also add a section as to how it will ship (UPS, Fedex, Palletize, Crate, etc).
For instance Small Flat Rate is $8.10 vs $8.25 with Express1 and Stamps. They have better rates on all Priority Mail products. Looking to see about getting ShipStation to integrate with PirateShip
Currently SS does not work to notify PayPal of tracking info and ship status. I am told by SS that they are not integrated with the correct PayPal API to allow this to happen. This is a big disadvantage for PayPal users, causing us an extra step by having to manually update each individual order in PayPal with tracking information. The current integration between PayPal and SS is not complete. SS, please do what is needed to integrate fully with PayPal.
to not have the ability to send duty paid to canada is pretty ridiculous. canadian duty is a minefield and avalara just do all the work - all shipstation has to do is parse through the duty figure. its a key destination for us, we have setup avalara and done all the work ibn the background for shipstation not to support the best way to get orders into canada is pretty rubbish for UK businesses.
It would be nice to be able to run a report to see how many of a certain package have shipped over time to better manage inventory levels for shipping supplies.
On the order alerts page, when you click into the customer name that the system is suggesting to look into to possibly combine shipments .. if there's 2 different customers coming up with multiple orders and there's check mark boxes next to the orders to signify that you're to select which orders to combine .. then you select combine shipments, it would make sense that you're telling the order to only combine the orders that you selected. However, the way the page is currently set up is that ALL the orders showing up on this page is to be combined whether or not you select the check mark boxes next to the order. So the way to do this is to get out of this page and search the customer to then select the orders and hit combine shipments. If you're unable to select which orders on the page to combine and your only option to combine shipments is to combine ALL the shipments showing on the page even though it's not actually the same customer, then the check mark box should be removed from this view. It's confusing.
