It would be efficient to be able to "select all" from the "order alerts" page and hit "combine shipments" to then combine all of the shipments that the system is alerting us that have the same addresses as opposed to having to manually go 1 by 1. I have 400 orders to manually merge..
From the Order Alerts page, it would be nice if after you've taken action of combining shipments that it be removed from the view page. I was told in order to remove it, you have to select the orders you combined and then click "dismiss." I have 400 orders to manually combine and I have to scroll down to find the next order to combine and it would make sense for the order to be removed from this view page after you've taken action so that you can see the next order to view at the very top of the list.
This isn't a feature request, but is an expected support level to maintain connections with Adobe Commerce stores using Magento version 2.4.6. New order sync works, however updating Magento with shipment status and tracking information is not working with Shipstation's current Magento extension.
Can we have the option to remove Powered by Shipstation from our branded page
We're trying to update the product description for over 8000 products. There's currently no way to bulk update this field so we have to do everything manually. It seems silly that there's a customs description column but not a column for the product description.
Hi @everyone, we have some products which require to pack in multiple boxes, however it seems shipstation doesnt support the automation for multiple packages at this moment. Can anyone suggest me when this would be available or is there anyway i can automate this.
Would be great to offer a hyperlink from the order level that would take you to that specific customer's history within ShipStation. Hovering over the recipient name will show past purchases, but there is no way to quickly jump to the record to see more specifics. Opening a new tab within the browser would be best.
It would be great if ShipStation had an option to print labels based upon weight. There are several sort options for printing labels, but nothing for weight. Would be great to offer a lightest to heaviest and heaviest to lightest.
Hello ShipStation Community,I'm writing to propose a feature that I believe would greatly benefit many users in this forum and improve overall efficiency.In our ecommerce business, we've noticed that when a customer orders multiple quantities of a single product, the packing slip only reflects a single line item with the total quantity. For instance, if a customer orders 3 units of Product XYZ, the packing slip shows 1 line with a quantity of 3.This method can lead to confusion and errors at our fulfillment center, where each item is handled individually. We need each quantity to be represented as an individual line item on the packing slip, i.e., if 3 units of Product XYZ are ordered, the packing slip should reflect 3 individual lines each with a quantity of 1.Interestingly, I've observed that the "Picking List" already includes an option that behaves this way - a feature that does not summarize items. However, this feature is currently not available for packing slip configuration or customization.Implementing this feature on packing slips will streamline our packing process, reduce errors, and most likely will benefit other businesses as well that have similar requirements.By introducing this feature, you would be addressing a significant challenge for many ecommerce businesses. This small change could greatly improve the efficiency of order fulfillment processes, especially for businesses that handle a large volume of orders or sell items in bulk.I invite other members of the ShipStation Community who face similar issues or see the potential value in this proposed feature to chime in and share your thoughts. Please bring back the feature to where it shows the price for each individual item on the order, on the sidebar. I have to split orders and ship items separately, because they come in it's own box, but now this is an issue that is creating invoices for each item even though an invoice was already made for the order in whole. Once the orders are synced, some orders have items that need to split so they can have their own packing slip. Once that split item is shipped a new invoice is being made to quickbooks, therefore giving out sales false numbers.
Hi Shipstation, We'd like Shipstation to notify our marketplace (Woocommerce) when orders have been delivered.Right now it notifies them (and changes order status to "Complete) when shipments are sent.We just want the one extra step to notify them when shipments are Delivered (it could set the order status to Delivered, or set a flag some other way).From this we can then trigger actions (such as emails) from the marketplace based on the customers receiving their orders.Thanks,Mik
We use Shipstation to manage fulfillment for a great number of big box retailers. We figure out in advance which carrier to use and what shipping method and then use the Shipstation API to generate the orders in Shipstation. From time to time, warehouse staff accidentally and sometimes purposely override the carrier and service sent in the 'create order' api. This causes lots of problems because the proper entity is not paying for shipping. We are a high volume user and this seemingly simple request is not supported in Shipstation.The request is for us to tell Shipstation at the 'order level' that the carrier and service and or billing cannot be changed by the user, therefore LOCKED. Lastly, if the Shipstation account has automation rules they need to respect the LOCK feature we are asking for.
I have orders from Amazon Business Customers. My shipstation does not import that information. I would like shipstation to import that information so I can place on my packing slip. I suggest creating a new field [Business_Customers]. This is primarily for accounting purpose. Thank You
we found the company field is missed from amazon store. we can find this field on the amazon seller centralbut it's lost on the shipstation.
My team and I have a hard time finding packages that we ourselves ship. The way Shipstaion does it now does not give the option for the package to be assigned to the user who actually ships out the package at their desk like we do at our company. If we could get a way to choose an option for it to automatically assign to the user who ships it out it would help us greatly when individual shippers are trying to locate a particular package while not knowing the order number or name of recipient.
Include all relevant data when downloading order info. Often times I need to contact the person who purchased the products and as it works now I would have to go back to the shopping cart to get that info slowing the process.
Customize verbiage, font, color, etc. on the Branded Returns Portal so customers feel that they're still on our webpage.
We have current rules where certain customers are applied there shipping account and carrier. We also specify the "package" type in the same rule. (reason for mentioning below)We now want to create a new rule that will pull from Custom 3 field to specify the box type/dimensions, for the most part this will work, but may now get over written by the new rules we want to implement for dimensions. (this could be ok if it does not change there carrier and #) Similar to the "Set Package Dimensions" Action Type where we type in the Dimensions, can we have a "Package" Action Type where we select the predefined package types we already have in ShipStation? "Set Package Dimensions" Action Type - populates the dimensions but leave Package field as "Package" (kind of leaves us empty not knowing the type)"Package" Action Type - would populate the Package field with the correct box type and also populate the dimensions. (giving u that visual confirmation) This would give us a visual confirmation that we have the correct box and trust the dimensions as they are tied to the package type already stred in ShipStation sizes
It would really be helpful if we can upload other customs documents when generating labels. For example export declarations. Instead of resorting to go to the carrier's website to create labels and upload documents there, please allow up to upload this in shipstation.
We'd like the ability to upload documents to our international shipments that could transmit as ETD. This would allow us to include an itemized commercial invoice with a shipment. Carriers have this feature on their own websites. It would be great if Ship Station would also support this feature.
V2 and V3 both provide shipping time estimates for USPS and Fed Ex, however, they do not provide this for UPS Shipments. This is attainable information, as Shopify provides this info on UPS shipments, so i know its possible, and ShipStation is retrieving it from USPS and FedEx, and i know UPS is willing to provide it because they provide it to Shopify, so it seems that ShipStation could simply ask for this info to be provided the same way they do Fed Ex and USPS .
i've been told by support that V3 won't have the ability to look up bulk orders at a time? Surely i'm not the only company that has to select various orders at a time to process and ship. V2 has a search orders feature that works. V3 has the blocks for this(for some reason) but i'm told the feature doesn't work. I'm super confused by this, and really really really need this feature if i'm ever to officially move to V3.And yes i know that one can sort orders within V3 by various things, but that's not helpful to me. We have specific orders that need to be grabbed with info that ShipStation doesn't catalogue. All i need to do is paste and search by order number.If i've got to deal with orders one at a time, i could just do that in Shopify.
When looking at the returns page there should be a way to indicate that the shipment is good to be restocked or not. Therefore, if a customer sends back a used or unsellable product- the team doesn't process the refund. I cannot edit any details once the return label was created. Example: Customer requests a return label via portal. They send back a product that they never indicated was bad. The item comes back covered in mud. The warehouse "marked as received" since it was but how do I indicate to the employee processing refunds that this customer was should not receive a refund since it was against return policy. Just a red tagged flag, or a not or a "not restockable" button would be great!
We use the Advanced Search option to sort/process orders by product name. If we come across an order while on the screen with search results, the system is unable to place an order on hold. The box pops up on the center of the screen saying Hold Until, with the circle spinning in the middle, but never completes. As of now, we have to be on the main Orders screen to put orders on hold, which could result in an order accidentally being processed.
