It would be helpful to have Ship Station print the shipping label to one printer and the packing slip to another printer at the same time.
I think it would be awesome if we had the ability to set our cut-off time(s) per service. My carrier(s) pick-up time at different times. USPS around 10:30am, FedEx Express around 2:45-3:00pm and FedEx Ground/Home around 3:30-4:00pm.
CAn there be a COGS added to the product data field, so when we pull a daily shipping report we have the cost of goods that can be deducted from the sale?
It would be great if you could provide live shipping rates on Big Commerce UK websites. I know this is a feature for US websites and it should come as a feature for UK companies. The features should already be there and it improves customer satisfaction to choose their own service of delivery.
It will be SAFER for us to have a Secure Account, which our information is our own secret for the safety of the customers and the business itself. I believe Shipstation, like other businesses, might need some third-party verification features for loggin in process. A Two-Step Verification should be great for preventing unwanted login and threats attacking our accoutns. A notification of any logins toward the account owner is helpful to determine whether the account is getting any illegal access. Following that, it is necessary for the account owner to know whether I got any unwanted visits. Hence, I also want to suggest an IP-checker to view the IPs and the location of all access. How do you guys think about it?
Seems that being able to select printing on a Standard #10 Business Envelope (4.125 x 9.5) should be an option.
Is it possible to import third party account numbers? I have the data in ShipStation's custom field 1 but automation rules do not appear to allow third party account numbers to be tied to a field. It looks for a specific account number. Is there another way to do this? We perform a significant number of drop shipments and use hundreds of customer shipping accounts.
Please add the ability to copy automation rules just like packing slips can be copied.
So that if an orders total weight is under "x" ounces and total volume is under "y" cubic inches then ship it by "z" preset group. This would prevent us from going through every possible quantity iteration of every SKU and creating tags for each possible box size and what, if any, flat rate box they'll go into...
It would be the best thing ever on top of the best feature ever (the multi-package shipment preset option) to be able to customize the reference field of each package that I'm configuring in my multi-package shipments so that when each label prints, I can see the customized SKU or whatever I'd like to put there. Would be the most vast time saver for our business.
Hello, We kindly request a feature be added to ShipStation. This feature is to allow for products to be assigned to separate packages when shipping an order through multiple packages. Currently, after creating multiple packages, the only thing assigned is Weight and Dimensions. Ideally we would be able to specify what is going in those packages. This is not necessarily a want, but a need. For anyone who ships anything in an EDI capacity, this is a necessary feature. Being able to say you have 5 packages with (package contents) enclosed, is a core tenant of EDI shipping. In order to do this at a current state, the same work needs to be done three times, where if this was a function of ShipStation, we would be able to programmatically associate the products and packages to EDI Compliant paperwork and labels. Without this function ShipStation will remain a "small" business vendor and cannot properly expand in today's world. Please consider adding this functionality and matching what the competitors already have in place. We like the way we can ship with ShipStation, and don't want to move too another provider, but will if this doesn't get resolved.
Currently, shipstation users are only able to customise their packing slips, however, i believe many of us would greatly benefit from the ability to customise other documents such as the Order Summaries, or even the Pick List. Different companies will always have differing workflows. Adding the ability to customise more documents will allow many companies to become more efficient when using shipstation, without changing their workflow to line up with shipstations features. For example, our fulfilment team picks items per order, which means that using the Pick List to give our team a document that contains the warehouse location is not useful, as it cannot be sorted so that it displays per order, but we cannot add the warehouse location onto our order summary document. This leaves us with one option... printing packing slips for each order that needs picking, as it is the only document that can be customised, and have the location added to it. Therefore, if we could simply add location information into Order Summary, our team would have a much more efficient time picking items in the warehouse.
Currently, the pick list has 4 options under the 'Summarize by' dropdown: SKU and Name; SKU; Name, and Do Not Summarize items (list items individually). All of these sorting options are base in product info.I propose that a new option gets added that allows you to sort the Pick List into Orders, rather than items. This is the same sorting option we see on the Order Summary, where we can ' Sort Orders by'. This would allow a warehouse team to pick by orders rather than by item, which in our case is more efficient than the other way around. Please consider adding the 'Sort Orders by' option to the Pick List Document Options.
Hi Shipstation, Can you please add a KG option for Unit of Measure???There's lbs oz and grams but no KG? I can see people began asking about this feature back in 2016, why has this not been added yet?Could you please action the communities request and add a KG option. I look forward to hearing from you!
When configuring multi-package shipments, why can't I customize the SKU that will come out on each different label of the shipment? Having each label of my multi-package shipment come out with the same SKU doesn't help our fulfillment process out at all.
Lasership integration is said to be live, but does not work for all accounts. I have had a support ticket open and been following up on it for 10+ months. Latest information from Lasership team is as follows. Shipstation not being properly integrated with Lasership is costing our small, growing business over 20 hours in labor on a weekly basis to manually match up packing slips. Please upvote if you're having a similar experience with this integration!Shipstation is currently set up with LaserShip API, but this is an old version which will be deprecated at the end of 2022. In order for anyone to move forward with LaserShip they will need to be on our current WS. LaserShip has reached out to ShipStation to alert them of the need for the update and certified module, but that project has not progressed. This would be a project between ShipStation and LaserShip and we would need ShipStation to initiate the project.
Requesting a total redo of how returns are viewed as both the Shipments- Returns and insights- are not user friendly. When I export a return report as a .csv or pdf, it shows me items but many of the shipping cost fields are $0.00 which is incorrect. I can not simply export a CSV and have excel add the total costs due to the fields being blank. In order to get return costs i must go to the top shipment tab then go to the side bar tab for returns and manually go line by line with a calculator in hand and add the total from each line. This should be a simple number I can see for my insights. How many return labels created and what the total cost was. Simple easy, shouldn't not be a feature.Second. From the shipments page and returns tab there is no sort feature when i can simply set it for a single month. It's just a long running list and does not give the user the option to easily zone in and find a return.
First of all, I love Shipstation! Thank you for making an awesome product. We're not a huge business, but on Cyber Monday and during the holidays we get a bunch of orders. It's challenging for us to view/print orders of 100 or more. Can you add a 4th option to display 50 orders at a time?
Hello All,My name is Conrad and I'm the Director of Operations for Monarch Brands. Has anyone heard from Ship Station regarding an update on the auto pack? When processing 400 plus orders a day, manually packing these out is time consuming and costly. The word Ship is in the company name! Every EDI provider, ERP and WMS has this capability. This should not be taking this long. If anyone has helpful information, I'd love to hear about it.Thank you,
When we change the tracking number for an order at ShipStation website we want the change in the tracking number to be reflecting at the customer end automatically. We want them to receive a message saying that the tracking number has changed or updated for that particular order.
Is there a way to run a report showing all shipments (tracking number, cost, etc) and filter it by Buyer ID?
I have a query and if the IT development team can resolve it ASAP i will be more than happy because i am sure that this feature will be helpful to every seller. These notes are very important as they contain instructions from sellers to the fulfillment team and I am surprised that no one has raised that query before or maybe someone did. Currently in SS a USER can see a Buyer Notes but can't see Seller Notes which can be written in Seller Hub/Orders and can be see in screenshot BF column As I can see SS is showing all needed information list ( column top right ) including buyers notes from eBay which is required to run these operations except the one I mentioned above "Item Notes", or it may be available but inactive and SS users can not see at the moment. One of my friend using another service provider like shipstation and he is getting item note(seller note) and in shipstation, we can't see.please show " Item Note" column info to users so that user can be benefited and can reduce the risk of errors on certain orders where sellers are sending some instructions to fulfilment/warehouse Attachments2. Screenshot showing Item Note Area column '' BF ''3. Screenshot of eBay Seller Hub where a seller write Item Notes
I know we can send an email once it ships and when delivered, but can we also send a notification to the customer when the package is out for delivery? This should be a basic function in 2023.
I contacted support recently who suggested that I create a post on here to request a feature. It would be great to have automatic tracking updates within Ship Station for Royal Mail. There is currently no way to see at a glance which orders are in transit / delivered. I know that it can be done because other shipping platforms are able to do it. I have seen a few other posts on here requesting this feature to be added so there is clearly a demand for it. Especially since Shopify doesn't integrate well with Royal Mail, Ship Station could easily capitalise on this. Also, it has been requested many times that customer email and phone number be mapped to the notification fields so that customers can receive updates directly from Royal Mail. Although I'm certainly no tech expert, it seems like it would be very simple to implement and would be of huge benefit to lots of users.
I would like to be able to change the background color of the header bar where the store logo and social media buttons go (or the dropdown button on tablet/mobile), as well as the background and text color of the columns/boxes. in order to have it match the theme/design of my website. I have the page background color and the text colors I'm able to change set to match my color scheme. However the white bar at the top of the page clashes and makes it look like some crappy free webpage that someone with ZERO artistic/design talent built. Like just boxes of color with no depth or graphics or contrast, or maybe too much contrast, idk. It looks like garbage lol. (website colors are more of a darker theme with brighter colors for the text, buttons, and content. The white looks AWFUL).An alternate option would be the ability to upload a banner-like logo that would cover the entirety of the bar. I'm not sure if that's already possible or not, or what the image size would need to be in order to do that.
