I was wondering if there was a rule that can put a block for shipments over $50 to alert us to assess why it is so high? I was told to submit an Idea
We would love to be able to "add custom packages" when you go to the "+" to add multiple packages rather than having to enter the size of each Package from Package 2 onwards it would save a lot of time to select from our preset custom package sizes rather than "add package" or "add 5 packages" of which we need to then enter each size. The "New Package Set" doesn't work in the same way as our combination of box types change every-time, however 90% of our shipments have more than one package. This would save us so much time if we could have a button to "add custom package" then choose from our preset options.
Allow Package Size Drop Down for Multiple Package UPS shipments. As soon as you enter 'Ship Multiple Package' you lose the ability to select packages from a dropdown. Entering box dimensions for 35 boxes is cumbersome. Especially if I only have 4 different box sized. No Shipstation, package sets do not solve this problem.
Hi ShipStation, We are a furniture company and the vast majority of our products ship in multiple boxes. We have custom Package Sets created for each item, but we currently need to select the corresponding Package Set every time – doing this manually is incredibly time-intensive and not practical for our order volume. I can think of two possible features that could solve this problem for us and likely many others: 1. Package Set automation – create a feature that automatically assigns an incoming SKU its corresponding package set.2. Add Package Sets to the Bulk Update feature – only single packages are able to be selected at this time. Being able to select all relevant orders and assign them their Package Set simultaneously still has a manual component but is much better than the current process. Please please add either Package Set automation (by SKU/product type) or the ability to choose Package Sets using the Bulk Update tool! Similar requests linked below – there's definitely a demand for this capability. https://community.shipstation.com/t5/ShipStation-Features/Suggestion-for-Automation-Rules-Package-Set/m-p/14803#M2151https://community.shipstation.com/t5/ShipStation-Features/Package-Preset-as-Automation-Action/m-p/14298#M1993https://community.shipstation.com/t5/Orders-Shipment-Management/New-Feature-Automate-creation-of-multi-packages/idc-p/15908#M5496https://community.shipstation.com/t5/Orders-Shipment-Management/Feature-request-Automate-Multi-Package-dimensions-package-set/idi-p/13665
New to the system but have a custom store developed and running. Came across one snag, when an order is imported it is, by default, imported as a single package shipment. We already know the number of packages before import and have this value set in one of the custom fields in the xml. There isnt an automation rule to use this number to create the number of packages they have to be created again by the operator. It could do with either a field adding into the xml for number of packages or a new automation rule on import to create number of packages based on a custom field value?
My credit card number changed recently and I forgot to update it on ShipStation. They attempted to process my payment yesterday, and because it declined, it shut everything down. I woke up this morning to the pictured email that my Stamps.com account has been disconnected, but no indication that my ShipStation account was shut off. I had to talk to both ShipStation and Stamps.com twice in order to figure out what was going on and get it fixed.Typically with software, when a payment is declined they send you an email stating such & give you a few days to update your payment method. It hardly seems like a good use of the customer's time and customer service's time to shut down the entire account immediately, especially when so little info was provided to shed light on what was going on. Thanks for listening.
Return module feature request: It would be great to have an itemized list of what the customer is returning. It could print out with the return shipping label. It could include instructions for the customer as well. The information is already on the screen when you go to print out the label. It would be a quick implementation.
Right now my products all mixed in with each other. If I was a hardware store I'd like all the nails to be grouped together, then the screws then the lumber. But right now everything is jumbled together and currently looks like this: NailNailScrewnaillumberscrewlumbernaillumber screw Right now if it just sorted by preset group would work for me
We've been fighting an issue where incorrect orders are being combined. It's been tracked down to the fact that after combining orders, the remaining order stays checked, so it's easy for someone to overlook that and combine that new order with completely unrelated ones. The software should automatically uncheck all orders after combining.
would love it if shipstation would pull the ship by date from ebay like it dose for amazon orders thanks
Just spoke to a rep and how can these features not be available?! I would consider these priority. 1) We have 2 warehouses. When warehouse A is out of stock of item, but Warehouse B has in stock. I want to set a rule so that when Warehouse A has 0 stock, it will tag Warehouse B. How is this not available? Warehouse A is main warehouse which prints pick list of all items in orders section. Yet they don't see when an item is in another warehouse. There must be a way for this! 2) Rule to set for QUANTITY INVENTORY. How is there so many rules, yet not one for quantity of inventory. There is quantity for order but not inventory. So when I want to set a rule, when inventory = 0 or less than 0, tag or do whatever. How is this not available?
We send a return label with everyone of our shipments. We expect 100% of these to be used (we're a direct to consumer lab and use the return label to ship the patient sample to the lab). We would like to be able to send tracking emails when customers return their samples to the lab via the RMA. We're currently using Aftership and Klaviyo to handle the initial shipment notifications. I'm also open to suggestions on how to handle this via another method.
Fedex now offers a new 'Fedex 3 Day' rate that replaces the 'Fedex 2 Day' rate. How is this not an option that has been added yet? This should be added asap.
I have about 500 automation rules and I want to disable/delete a lot of them. We used the rules to split orders and products to out different warehouses but we currently do not need them anymore and I will have to manually disable them one at a time. I wouldn't mind if I could have done it with the API but there is no such endpoint to do so. If there is another way around that I would love to hear it. There should be a select all or checkbox to select the ones we want to disable.
We need to print Order # and SKU on all our labels, but the Amazon Buy Shipping labels only support 1 label message. All the other carriers we use support at least 2, so can we get another one added to ABS labels? Thanks!
We have over 100 Inksoft and Bright Sites stores. However, ShipStation only allows us to set up one store per platform. So, all of our Inksoft orders, which come from 80 different stores get co-mingled with no way to differentiate or filter them in ShipStation. Same for the Bright Sites stores. This makes it impossible to monitor, filter or run reports on these orders on an individual store basis. It would be nice to be able to have a ShipStation store for each individual Inksoft and Bright Sites store, or at least be able to filter by individual store within these platforms. Until we can do this ShipStation is not a viable solution for us.Regards,Todd
Currently, we only have a toggle between on/off to send emails from ShipStation. I am proposing that we allow conditional email sending, such as only sending an email for additional shipments. Currently, I use Klaviyo to send shipping confirmation/tracking label emails, but if I try to add a shipment, the customer would not know the second tracking number as they wouldn't be notified from Klaviyo about the additional shipment. I would love to have the option to use ShipStation to inform my customers about the additional shipments via email. If anyone has another solution for this, please let me know because my customers are sometimes confused when all their items are not all in one package and they're not informed of the other tracking numbers.
Even many of the support folks don't seem to know that ShipStation doesn't show all active shipping options in one's ecommerce shopping cart, but I have confirmed this with higher level support folks and, of course, it's obvious when viewing the shipping options available to customers in the shopping cart. Instead, ShipStation only shows the cheaper/faster shipping options of those that one has activated. For example, if UPS Ground is slower and more expensive than USPS Priority Mail, it will not show UPS Ground as an option in one's ecommerce shopping cart even though both are active shipping options. It seems that it would be very simple to have a checkbox in ShipStation settings that would force ShipStation to deliver ALL active shipping options to the ecommerce shopping cart for those that would prefer this (like me). I have requested this functionality several times over the past years. Does anyone know if ShipStation is ever going to deliver on this simple, common sense functionality?
We are facing such a problem that if we want to adjust the order in our e-store, the information arrives at our shipstation and the order is updated, but the problem is that this information does not reach our 3PL partner and the order information is not updated at their shipstion and remains only original order without any updated information. After that, we face various inconveniences:That we have to close the old order and create a new order if we want this order to be seen in the 3PL partner's shipstation with good informationThat we have to ask our partners to prepare the order with them in shipstion Since there is no update of information from our shipstion and our partner shipstation, it creates a lot of manual work and a lot of opportunities for human error and then the integration loses its meaning. So my idea would be to do automatic order update between shipstation and 3PL shipstation. I would really like to see such an idea implemented as soon as possible to solve these problems.
Create CN22 and CN23 declarations for international Royal Mail parcels
A USPS representative just contacted our company. This representative said we should switch shipping platforms and use GrandShipper because they offer USPS Merchant Rates and ShipStation does not. When will ShipStation offer Merchant Rates for USPS Priority Mail packages? https://usps.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/#j0000000GyYH/a/t0000002lr9Y/gpV98CU4BvHuLc4yRS.1adZwHiP.4FknKbcTMctnerM

Hi!Many companies ship items with Lithium-Ion batteries now. From September, USPS require adding 3 copies of Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods. My request is more integrated support for UN3481(Lithium-ion Batteries in Compliance with Section II of PI967). It is definitely possible to ship these through USPS, but there is some additional labels and paperwork that are required. Any level of support for these types of shipments would be much appreciated and would tip the scale for us to utilize ShipStation.Hope for your support!
We would like to be able to add items to orders based on automation rules. For example a sticker or an instruction card, items not typically purchased at the time of sale. Right now we cannot control packers including these non purchased items.
Is it possible to add a function which will allow customer's instructions, that they leave at the checkout, being passed onto the carriers?
