It would be nice to have our products dimension included when we do a split order. When we have multiple products included in one order, we need to split the order for the shipping and we need to add manually the size of the each item even if the product created in ShipStation already includes size. This adds time to our order processing as we need to look up each item and fill the dimensions manually. We hope this can be improved! Thank you for your time
In the update notes for the new version, ShipStation says this about the "split and combine shipments improvements": This new process also more accurately represents what our merchants are actually doing. You are either fulfilling items from a single order separately, or you are fulfilling items from separate orders together. Not sure where you got your information from but that is definitely NOT what I need to use the split order feature for. How about orders that need to be split because we can not fulfill the entire order?? How are we to accomplish that? There is no ability to edit the invoice even if we use the split shipment feature and cancel the other part of the shipment. Removing functionality is not a good thing!
It would be great if the returns portal could be setup for the UK with more control over return rules etc. I'm currently looking at Aftership and that features a lot of what we need to see from Shipstation in regards to settings, automations and email customisation. I want to be able to offer paid labels for some returns for example, faulty items. But also provide basic return information for normal returns that we don't want to cover the cost for. Even just the fact that the returns portal asked for zip code and not postal code is something that should also change.
Please could you add APC Overnight as a courier option in the UK. We switch from other courier to APC Overnight.
When you put an order in and you are manually entering the order. It rearranges the items once you save so they do not go in the order you put them in. When double checking to make sure everything is correct from looking at the PO or Invoice it is hard to do. Before in the "old format" when you put an item in and the order you put it in, it stays that way. Please fix or help!
I've been dealing with a problem where I cannot clear the checkboxes in some cases. Here's how I replicate it:In the list of orders, check the box next to an orderClick the order number to pop up the order detailsClose the order details windowClick the checked box. The check does not clear.Does anyone else see this? I submitted a case to Shipstation support, never heard back from them, and the case was marked as "Solved" despite receiving no communication and the bug not being, you know, fixed.
Currently, TNT requires you to purchase the label and then also book the shipment separately. TNT only support booking shipments or organising a recurring pickup directly through TNT. The need for an automatic booking once the shipment is created is essential in my opinion.
We want to prevent users from creating new shipping defaults and overwriting existing data. Below is a screenshot of the Product Management user permission. One would think that this would allow you to prevent the user from modifying product shipping defaults. That is NOT how it works. It simply blocks the PRODUCTS tab from being accessible but still allows the user the overwrite any existing shipping defaults. Defaults that are overwritten could have catastrophic consequences for business owners that are unaware a user may be creating new shipping defaults. Please correct this quickly!!
Locations for products are confusing right now because when creating the pick list, the Warehouse Location is used as the location, however, you can also have multiple locations within Inventory Management location for each item -- but this is not an option to show up on the pick lists: Inventory Management settings within a product, contains a section to add locations: Warehouse location section within product shipping settings: Picklist prints Warehouse location and NOT the Inventory Management locations: If Inventory locations can be a part of the pick list, that would be great!
Hey here's a brilliant idea ShipStationeers! Why don't you let the customer select the carrier and not just the cheapest rate when our stores are using Live Rates for checkout! It would allow the customer some added choice, and you wouldn't be frustrating every store owner who wants to use this service!
This is posted numerous times but I'm told by customer service to post it again. All rates should be available for real time rates. Consumers should be presented with the options and be able to choose the delivery service time, provider, and cost that best suits their needs and budget. Ideally let it be configurable if a store wants to show just the least expensive or all options. Please address this.
shipstation should alert us when a duplicate order is entered.
Our products are large and only one can go in a box at a time. Can you please add a setting for when orders are imported with multiple quantities that ShipStation automatically creates that many packages using the package information for that product (Weights and dimensions)?This would allow for a lot more automation saving us time!
When this account was made, I did not realize you couldn't change your displayed username later on (which is an option available in almost every forum I've used... except this one). As these are usually company accounts that may change hands, please give options to change forum screennames as some of us are uncomfortable having bits of personal information displayed on a public website.
We are using a Custom Store in order to connect our inventory management software (Solid Commerce) to Ship Station. At least 3-4 times a month there is an Amazon order that gets placed on payment hold for something like an expired credit card or purchase order authorization. Once Amazon finally releases the order it doesn't get pulled into Ship Station because the order date is more than 4 days old. If you're not watching the Amazon orders page closely this order will sit there until somebody notices that it never shipped. We have confirmed with our developers that this is a setting not accessible to users or third party developers and needs to be changed by ShipStation. Is there any way we can get this window opened up so that these Amazon orders don't go unfulfilled?
Our company ships gift boxes with multiple items such as :Books,T-Shirt,Water Bottle,Rubber DuckKey Chain. We need to update the Customs Declaration to include the name, quantity, and value for each individual item. I'm trying to find a way to Bulk edit the Customs information. As of this moment, the only option I see available is adding the above mentioned items one by one on each and every order. There must be a quicker way to do this.
Our company has over 300 retail stores, each of which list their own products on our website & individually manage their own orders in Shipstation. With that in mind, each store is set up with its own 'Carrier account' in Shipstation, so that they may be individually charged for generated postage labels. Their carrier account is assigned to 'their orders' by way of an automation rule. When navigating to a Shipped order and clicking 'Create Another Shipment', the applied 'Shipping(Carrier) Account' reverts back to our default carrier account. Reprocessing the automation rules corrects this, however I would sooner that 'Create Another Shipment' uses the original shipment data for the new one - instead of reverting back to various defaults that may be in place.. Just to more easily ensure that the correct carrier account is being charged for postage label generation.
Adapt Shipstation implementation for Shopify in order to make sure its compatible with Post Purchase 1 Click Upsells and the OneClickUpsell OCU app for Shopify. The latest Shopify Fulfillment API allows for fulfillment holds so post-purchase offers products can be smoothly added to orders: https://shopify.dev/changelog/post-purchase-fulfillment-holds Currently, Shipstation orders are showing with 0 quantity when auto-fulfilled until the upsell funnel is complete (1 hour) or TY Page is reached. Having this feature would allow Shopify store owners to use the apps together and increase Average Order Value seamlessly. Provide merchants with a significant increase if profitability that is lost without post-purchase upsells.
I just finished a Support Chat with a ShipStation employee who suggested that I request this feature here. To be honest I'm not sure why they couldn't refer the issue back internally but here we are. I'd like AusPost shipments to default to "Confirmation... Authority to Leave" but it doesn't seem that there is any way to do that with orders that include multiple items (single item orders can be set by Presets/Preset Groups). Hopefully this is something that can be resolved.
In V2, I was able to press first letter to quick select when choosing tags, and now in V3 I need to scroll through and click to select.For example, in V2, after confirming everything I would add a tag with "Ready to Ship" by clicking on "Edit Tags" and press "r". Now, after pressing edit, I need to scroll through 15 tags before I see what I need. My temporary solution is to make it "A) Ready to Ship" so it appears on top. However it's not idea, because that means something else gets squeeze to the bottom. I'm sure a lot of people uses tags like me, and adding quick select can greatly improve our efficiency. Better yet, a short cut to bring up tag selection or binding shortcut to would even be better.
When you hit SHIPMENTS, it no longer displays the orders in chronological order. It sorts by date correctly, but within the date it is sorted backwards. Example of current sorting: 6/14 - Order 3 (shipped 9am)6/14 - Order 4 (shipped 10am)6/14 - Order 5 (shipped 11am) <-- last shipment6/13 - Order 1 (shipped 9am)6/13 - Order 2 (shipped 10am) Order 5 should be at the very top was it was in V2. I often have to reprint labels and would appreciate if the last order I created is at the very top, easy to find.
I have a API selling channel unable to identify shipping carrier "STAMP.COM" as USPS carrier. Would that be any method that we can change my USPS provider name and method from "STAMP.COM" to "USPS" instead in our API setting? Here's the request from our selling channel. Please help. Please kindly revise your incorrect shipping carrier and method from you API system.
Products can have long technical names marketed and sold to customers but internally they can be known as something different or as an acronym. I'd like to be able to have a product "nickname" field to input on the product details page and be able to view it on the order list and packing slip. This way, internally we see the shorter product name, but externally to customers, they see the full marketed name.
We need the ability to filter shipments by which orders were assigned to specific users in our business. Currently the only way to assign an order before it is shipped is to first create the order, close it, assign the user, then we can proceed forward on creating the label. It would be very helpful if there was an assign user option within the new order form so that we could assign our users to orders and then immediately create the label if necessary. That way we can later filter by the assigned user on the shipments page. Please add this feature as soon as possible. Thank you! 🙂
I have several items with slightly different variations, which I note in the product description. So in my email template to the customer, I'd like to include the item's description. Product options are not compatible in my current setup. Secondly, in some cases I'd like to only use the item description and not the item name, so another option to remove the item name (like the "NOSKU" option) would be nice.
