Using multiple UPS accounts with SurePost is painful and inefficient. We must look at each UPS account and manually decide the best account to to utilize in label generation. This is error prone and labor intensive. Please escalate on the upgrade roadmap.
This should be a fairly simple request to implement. We are adding multiple locations and it would be easier to find locations if the "Assigned To" list was sorted by name instead of by when it was added. See attached.
I regularly need to add extra shipping labels to shipments where we use 2 or more boxes to dispatch. I would really like a way to edit these more quickly than the current way of Voiding the Shipment and adjusting in Orders. A way to simply add more labels to a shipment from the Shipments screen would save so much time!
We are already able to ship a package using the customers account. When we check the box to include a return label we should also have to option to bill that return label to the customers account.
We need to split one large corporate order to ship items to multiple branch locations. Split Ship does not give us the option to change the delivery address for each split order individually. Example: an order from corporate for 350 items with different quantities shipping to 48 different addresses. Splitting quantities is simple enough but if you change the address/contact name on one, it changes for all. Split Ship doesn't allow a different address for each split shipment. "Configure Shipment" should include changing the address as an option. This feature worked on the previous version. Am I missing something? It looks as though I'll have to manually create each of the 48 "split" orders to input different addresses. That is a lot of extra work.
The "Other Actions" button is hidden behind an overflow menu ("...") on Chrome as shown in the screenshot. This does not occur using Firefox, and it does not occur in the legacy user interface. This occurs despite using a widescreen monitor, with maximized browser window, with plenty of screen space for the button to expand to the right and drop the overflow menu button ("..."). We've been forced off the perfectly functioning legacy interface. Now this is slowing us down since we are now required to click "..." and then hover over the "Other Actions" button before finally clicking the action we want, such as "Mark as Shipped". When will this bug be addressed?
When creating a return from an order, it would be very useful and much more efficient for the weight and dimensions to auto populate for the label after you select the products to return. I am not sure why this is not automatic, because other shipping platforms do have this feature. It would save us about a minute for each return label which tends to add up for a business.
Hello! It would be incredible if we could separate our store into two "warehouse".All of our products from Shopify flow into our store, but we are now having two separate teams fulfill orders. It was be very nice to divide those specific Team A products into a Team A warehouse and Team B products into a team B warehouse.
Is their a way to sort orders by Quantity of the product when printing labels? So if I was shipping different quantity of the same product the label would print high to low or low to high and not all mixed together. Like 4,3,1,1,1 and not 1,4,1,3,1.
Looking at Insight > Reports > Item Demand Summary. This has potential to be a very valuable tool. Unfortunately, it is not returning meaningful counts because it is ignoring the products that are part of bundles. In other words, I need it to count the SKUs that are in the ITEM OPTIONs field.
I recently spoke with our FedEx account representative last week and they introduced us to FedEx Ground Economy, which was formerly FedEx SmartPost (link to information here: https://www.fedex.com/en-us/shipping/ground/economy.html). Our contract now includes Ground Economy, but after calling into ShipStation customer support I found out it is currently not an option to select this or have it enabled. It would be a tremendous benefit to utilize this for our online marketplaces, and I would love to see this implemented on ShipStation and begin using this shipment option as soon as possible!
It would be nice if we could split multiple orders simultaneously. We usually deal with 10k + orders that we have to split. It takes up a lot of time to split these orders especially since my team is small. This would speed up our process.
I don't know why this feature was removed from the Advanced Search but we really need to bring back 'do not include' for filter searches, specifically Tags. I do not know why I am posting here, though, since these requests are seemingly never looked at, considered or fulfilled no matter how many people might agree. Just figured I'd try before the new layout is forced on us.
Currently as it stands the integration between Shipstation and NewEgg Canada does not consume the tax information for the order. We receive the order amount and amount paid with not tax information. Canadian tax are unique but NewEgg Canada does accumulate the tax information for the order. Need to have this information come directly into shipstation.
Splitting orders in to multiple shipments is one of the main features that has lured us to use ShipStation as our goto application. As it is still an option within the newer layout, however the loss of the ability to let users customize the order number after splitting an order is no longer a current feature. As our company is an international company. We have orders shipped from warehouses that are close to destination points in order to save shipping costs and time for our customers. Our warehouse systems have been programmed to search for small simple codes to direct the orders to be shipped out. Such as a code -1 will be shipped out from a warehouse located in IL, or a code -2 will be shipped out from CA just for example. It is great that you can split the orders, but how do you tell which warehouse to pick up what order to ship. The loss of this feature to customize the split order numbers has been confusing to our shipping departments, and causing more shipping delays. If you do not see the logical reasoning of returning this helpful feature. Please create a feature where each split order can be assigned to a specific warehouse by just looking at the order number.
THE PROBLEMShipstation does not account for the cost of non-standard packaging with FedEx when quoting rates and recording shipping expenses. And the way it does it for UPS is not elegant or user friendly. BACKGROUNDBoth UPS and Fedex have additional fees for parcels that require special handling. Those parcesl incur an Additional Handling Surcharge known as AHS. The AHS can be triggered by these things:Actual Weight over 50 lbsLength over 48 inchesWidth (second measurement) over 30 inchesNon-Standard Packaging that isn't a simple 6-sided cardboard box (cylindrical tube, plastic packaging, straps, etc)Shipstation handles the first three of these conditions within the current weight and dims. If any of those first three conditions are met, Shipstation adds the AHS to the rate quoted. But the fourth item, non-standard packaging, is not taken into account when quoting rates. This is a problem for accurate rate quotes. Since AHS charges range b between $14.00 to $31.50 in 2022, this is a significant cost that is missed by Shipstation. With UPS by Shipstation carrier, there is a tick box available when printing labels that will add the fee. That's a solution, but not an elegant one. With FedEx, there is no way to designate or get a quote for a nonstandard packaged parcel. We use FedEx a lot and ship non-standard a lot. So this Shipstation limitation is considerably undercounting what we---and many other shippers--are actually paying. PROPOSED SOLUTIONThe best way to elegantly handle this problem is to create a new tick box on the custom packaging types setup dialog. When setting up a packaging type, just designate it as non-standard packaging. Then the shipper selects that packaging type and the non-stadard AHS is added ot the cost of shipping the parcel. WHY THIS CANNOT BE DONE BY HAND AND REQUIRES SHIPSTATIONThe four AHS conditions have different costs depending on which condition triggers it. And only one AHS charge is added per parcel, regardless of how many conditions are met. The carriers apply only the most expensive AHS of those. So for instance, if a parcel is going to Zone 3, and it is a 51 lb item wrapped in plastic, a $27.50 weight AHS is added but the $16.00 non-standard packaging AHS will not be. However, if the item is 49 lbs and wrapped in plastic, a 16.00 non-standard packging AHS will be applied, but not any other. If the same parcel were going to Zone 2, a $14.00 charge would be added for the non-standard packaging. In other words, a human operator shipping a package cannot easily determine how much the AHS will be and then add it. Shipstation can easily build this calculation into its algorithm even if the carriers don't return the adjusted AHS for non-standard. Yes, it would be the "published" AHS for non-standard packaging, but that is better than ignoring this significant shipping cost altogether as it does now.
Currently, when we ship internationally, a majority of the customs information is sent via EDI, rather than having to do paper commercial invoices (except for certain countries, like Brazil). Unfortunately, the email information of the recipient is not transmitted to UPS, (even though it is on the Shipstation order), and we get multiple daily requests from UPS customs for this information. Apparently, this information does transmit for Fedex orders, just not UPS. Can you please work with your developers to ensure that the email address is transmitted as well?
ShipStation offers an Inventory Management System that (like the reports Since 2016) can't be exported automatically. Having an accessible CSV feed via a public or private URL would enable the ShipStation Inventory system to be integrated with multiple stores through a variety of different workflows. Whether that be a direct read from the feed periodically or that data landing in a Zapier or Inventory Sync feed that then copies it across on a schedule.
It would be very convenient to be able to look up a list of orders that were merged together in a combined report. This way it allows you to backtrack without having to remember the merged order number.
When a shipment is completed it sends to our store details about the shipment, works great. One thing we just found is that if we print labels for the day ahead, our system sends out an email for today's date. I checked our code and found that we're saving the ship_date as today's date because it’s not available in your post to us. Your system does not send us the date of the shipment, it just sends the details, below, so we don't know when it will ship. Can you add the ship_date field to your post to us please? I do see that it's saved on the shipment. For example, on this one, we printed the label on 4/28/2022 and it posted to our system on 4/28/2022, so we marked it shipped on 4/28/2022, but really it doesn't ship until 4/29/2022 as shown on your system under shipment 1 array ('SS-UserName' => 'abc','SS-Password' => 'xyz','action' => 'shipnotify','order_number' => '12345','carrier' => 'UPS','service' => 'UPS® Ground','tracking_number' => '1Z1111111111111',)
In the Awaiting Shipment page:When combining orders for the "Same Buyer", the new ShipStation layout now displays "(Multiple)" in the Buyer Id field. There is no reason to do this for the Buyer Id field, since it's literally the same buyer id.By displaying (Multiple), you are forcing us to either click on the rows one by one to find a Buyer Id, or display the page with all rows toggled open, which then forces us to scroll down the page and search for the buyer id, which makes no sense whatsoever. The ides of the Awaiting Shipment page is to provide a quick outline and minimize labor. You need to display the buyer id field unless there really are multiple buyer id's for that group.
Allow MCF inventory to be reflected back on the marketplace for items configured to be fulfilled through MCF
I can not longer enter custom dates to obtain a sales report. At least one of the two calendars is block by the "cancel" and "apply" buttons. The same happens on a different browser. Can you help?
Hello, I was asking one of your Enterprise customer service professionals about any type of integration with Microsoft Dynamics and they said not at this time. I think this would be a great project to implement if shipstation is interested in continuing to provide great service to their customers. We are about ready to implement Dynamics and may have to switch shipping services or hope our 3rd party integrator can develop some software at not too high a cost to work with your software. Thanks for listening. Murray SlennBug-A-Salt / Skell, Incmurray@bugasalt.com
It seems that we cannot verify upc codes with letters included much of the time. Upon further inspection, we learned that Shipstation is case sensitive. There should be a way to turn this off in order to be able to have a smoother scan and ship experience. SKUs and barcodes should be verified, regardless of upper or lower case letters. Please like to get this put through.
